Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Fair Quality, Minimal Features
I purchased this refrigerator along with a range, dishwasher & microwave to go in a completely remodeled kitchen. The two reasons why I chose this model were; 1) I didn't want stainless steel as it is continually in need of cleaning so I chose this slate finish and 2) GE across the board has reasonably good reviews. Having to do it again, I would not purchase this product. First the slate finish is high susceptible to scratches. Mine showed a scratch on the corner after installation and since we can't prove it came that way we are stuck. Secondly the quality is just average with a lot of plastic, no air filter, no rollers on drawers, etc.

Worthless appliance, buy anything else!
This fridge is less than useless. Ice maker stopped working, then the freezer stopped cooling anything. It took a service tech over a month to come out and look at it and they told us it's leaking refrigerant and the refrigerator part will also stop working soon. They have to order a part. A week later, replaced it and "recharged" the refrigerant. Now the fridge finally cools again, but the ice maker doesn't work and freezer is just another fridge drawer, even though it is set for -6 Degrees. Our previous, non-GE fridge lasted 25 years. The Amana in our garage has lasted over 20 even in extreme heat and cold. This fridge couldn't make it 4.

Looks great and seems to work well so far!
Nice looking fridge and seems to work well overall! Haven't noticed many fingerprints yet and has a nice profile to it. Autofill is a great feature and seems to work wonderfully 90% of the time, works ok 98% of the time, then 2-5% of the time it just straight up fails... but cool feature and I'll take it! Great lighting in the fridge and freezer and everything seems to be well made. My only complaint is I wish the water came a little colder out of the dispenser, I tend to have to use ice in my glass whereas with my old fridge I was able to just dispense water without ice and it would be cold enough... knocks off one star but still a great fridge!

Looks can be deceiving
I bought the GE refrigerator because I liked the slate color!! That’s what set it apart from all the rest UNTIL it got its voice! it was always noisier than my old refrigerator(not GE) that I replaced after 30 years, even though it still worked great! But I wanted a different look! Now I’ve had this one less than 3 years and it’s like living at an airport! When the compressor starts up it’s SO LOUD! You would think it’s a plane taking off , but you know it’s not because it doesn’t go anywhere, it just sits there drowning out all other sounds!!! Lesson learned, go with quality workmanship not what looks good!!!! Schooled

Has excellent low temp freezer
Took a day or so to figure out the settings, very simple to do. Allow 24 hours for freezer to equalize and the ice maker to get going. So far so good. Adjusting the shelf locations is easy to do and after a few days playing with them you can find the right setting for your food needs. I like the auto fill unit, put a glass under it hit the indicator and it fills, even better with large containers. The ice storage is not big so a big family could run it out in a day, we live in the desert and use a lot of ice and so far it's been ok for two of us. We keep a back up bag of ice for unexpected parties, just so we don't run out. I gave it 5 stars as it does as advertised.

Piece of junk
This refrigerator is an overpriced, complicated nuisance. So many bells and whistles, but crummy at accomplishing the basics. Ice dispenser is slow and lame. Configuration of freezer is strange and wastes space. Worst of all, the water filter compartment has no instructions whatsoever, and the instructions in the manual are incorrect - they tell you to rotate to get the filter out, but when you do rotate it, it jams and breaks the housing mechanism. We found several YouTube videos that showed us, after the fact, how we broke it. So, so tired of badly made, expensive appliances that have features nobody needs, but do not meet basic requirements.

Awful
1. Makes loud noises, buzzing noises constantly and intermittedly when the door is closed. Have to loosen the doors to stop sounds (temporarily).
2. Ice maker failed to produce any ice at all.
3. Replacing the filter is unbelievably complicated. Why are there two filters "RPWFE" and "XWFE"? I should be able to enter my model number and get the right filter. This adds so much unnecessary confusion.
4. Appears to be a warm spot in the top-left corner. Orange juice placed in the top-left of the fridge goes bad faster than other fridge areas. Completely unacceptable in 2024.
This fridge is worse in every way than our old Samsung fridge.

Design Flaws
The PYE22KMKES designed, manufactured, and distributed by GE is defective and I base that statement from it's several design flaws. First, there's not enough clearance between the doors therefore one of the bins in the left door scratches the paint off the inside of the right door when opening and closing. We have an expensive brand new fridge with scratched paint. This happened immediately after delivery - the PYE22KMKES made by GE is flawed. Second, the freezer drawer sticks to the point that when you attempt to open it the seal is so tight you can literally pull the fridge away from the wall before the seal breaks - the PYE22KMKES made by GE is flawed. Third, it is extremely noisy, especially when one of the doors is open - the PYE22KMKES made by GE is flawed.
