GE Profile Black Slate 2.1 cu.ft. Capacity Over-The-Range Microwave - 400 CFM

Got the exact same brand and model to replace the one that went bad within a few years, hoping that it would fit right into the space over the stove. Unfortunately, slight changes were made to the product when manufactured. The dimensions were different, and the mounting system was totally changed.

I purchased to replace an old microwave. The air fan is great - no more smells in my house!! Love the sleekness of the front door. The lights are great. Microwave works every well. I purchased because it was on a ‘best of’ list when it comes to air filtration for smells.

I bought this model because GE was recommended and my other high end model from another manufacturer broke after only two years. This GE model has several design flaws. The hidden handle design is a burden and is awkward to use when holding an item in your right hand.

There was a little difficulty mounting the microwave to cabinet above. The template, I believe, was off by 1/16". Hence, 4 star rating. However, my wife commented on the finger prints on the glass and stainless steel. This product replaced an existing GE Profile that was 14 years in use.

We originally were going to buy a smaller countertop GE microwave, but decided on this one mostly because it matched our new JS750SF3SS oven. We mostly use it for reheating leftovers, warming frozen dinners, and making popcorn, so we didn't need the convection capability on the fancier units.

It looks great with my sleek new modern kitchen. If you're looking for a nice luck it's well worth the extra money!!

Very happy with the new microwave. Buttons are not too touch sensitive which avoids miss keys. Heats well, and sensor cooking does a perfect job on popcorn. Install took about 3 hours including the removal of the previous microwave with two people.

This is our second of this microwave. The first was in our home when we bought it, but it went out and the local repair guys were going to charge us more than buying a new one to fix it. We loved the one that we had so we bought the updated model. No problems with it as of this review.

This is one of the nicest designs in microwaves. Even the interior of the microwave looks different and Is easy to clean and use. It is quiet also. Another GE Profile appliance that keeps the customer’s needs in mind. Would highly recommend.

This GE microwave is very large. It can hold several pans at one time. It heats items quickly, is easy to clean, and has a good power output. The controls are easy to understand and the display is easy to read.
