Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Love, Love, Love!
After having my first gas stove at my previous home I knew I never wanted another one. I've always preferred GE appliances though I haven't had one in a while. When we were shopping for appliances for our new home the Cafe line caught my eye and I knew it's what I want in my kitchen. This cooktop is large and easy to use. If you download the app you it will remind you if your stove is on. When you remove a pan, after a few minutes it will turn itself off. This is a great feature for those of us who tend to get too busy and forget! It's super easy to clean, boils water is seconds, there is nothing I do not love about this cooktop and all my Cafe appliances!

Not great
Does not heat up as quickly as other brands. There is also a buzzing sound when turned on which is very annoying.
Also hard to clean. Difficult to get rid of smudges.

Needs improvement
I have the php9036st model. The unit replaced a prior glass top ge unit with conventional electric burners. The unit does heat very fast and the burners are easy to select the desired setting. The controls are red when in use. The gray printing on the panel is too light and not easy to see. The tone generated by the timer is much too quiet. I contacted ge by phone and they didn't offer much help. Activating the options menu is not easy or straight forward.
The bridge between the two smaller burners provides one single control but there is no heat between the two burners when the units are bridged. Several weaknesses in design. For the price this unit needs some improvements to be more user friendly. I chose it because it fit the cut out from the prior cooktop.

Meh!!
ok, not spectacular. stated in sales pitch that you can adjust the temp by degrees or it will maintain a particular temperature setting. thats only if you buy the sensors that you stick in the pan $$$. or buy pans that have bluetooth sensors that connect to the cooktop even more $$$.
stainless steel edge scratched immediately. replaced and older induction from GE with this one as th glass had been cracked.

Nice upgrade
We had issues with our kitchen remodel and a different GE cooktop, so GE replaced it with this version, which was more expensive. Although some of our pots/pans don't work with the convection magnets, those that do work VERY well, and heating time is super quick! I like the look of this cooktop more than the cheaper one as well. The wifi connection is kind of pointless from what I can tell. It'll tell me in the app what burners are on and at what percentage, however, I can't turn them on/off with the app.

Good performance !
Of course any product can be improved but I am fairly happy with this cooktop. The app is stupid - no ability to remotely turn off the elements; this would be a very useful feature for people who sometimes leave the house and forgot to turned off the stove. For me, the ability to turn off the burners remotely is a huge safety benefit, but for whatever reason they have not enabled this function.

100% love induction cooking and this cooktop
We have been wanting to convert from gas to induction for a while. We are very into cooking as are our kids (young adults) so we were hesitant. We absolutely love it and love this cooktop in particular. We wanted one of the more “upscale” brands but this one was the one that fit so we went with it. It’s awesome. The controls are easy and intuitive, the configuration works great. It looks great in our kitchen. Buy it, you will love it.
