In this price range this is one of the only cooktops that features 5 full-function burners. (Most have only 4 full-function burners plus one "warming" burner.) The Rapid Boil burner does a great job of bringing temperature up fast.
Not worth the price, very hard to keep clean, one burner out already!
It died almost exactly 2 yrs after install. Sure it was used every day but it should last longer than 2 yrs.
The knobs are oddly tall and bulky.

nice look and works well
I was very happy to find this item at this price; it is over $200 more at Home Depot and Lowes. I was looking for a 36 inch cooktop that would enable me to use 3 large pots at a time with room between each pot and this one fit the bill.
I bought this cooktop (or one exactly like it) from Home Depot. We have had it for about 8 months now. I love the special features on this cooktop. Power boil truly is able to boil even a large pot of water in half the usual time. A small pot, in about 1 minute.
