GE JP3036SLSS 36 Inch Electric Smoothtop Cooktop

I prefer the knobs over the digital option. The coils heat evenly and quickly. All of my kitchen appliances are GE so I looked at GE first for the replacement. The glass top cleans up easily. The one little negative is that the knob numbers require a fair amount of light to be seen. They are silver.

We love all of our GE Appliances. We originally wanted the flat electric cooktop (with no knobs) but we couldn't wait the 4 months it would have taken to deliver, so we purchased this one (with knobs) I like the size of the various heating elements, they heat up quickly and cool down quick also.

I use this for everyday cooking and it works great. I had a problem with the "warming zone" burner and was disappointed that I could not get better information about it from the manual and website. However, I now believe that I understand what is for and how it works.

Works great. Easy to install. Operating directions were a little confusing. Beside that, this unit was a great improvement over the old one. The stainless steel rim across the front makes wiping food debris troublesome. Just need to wipe everything off the side instead the front.

My GE stove top replaced a Kenmore. The GE is a little more work to keep clean in terms a of streak marks. Also temperature controls seem to be a little off on a couple of burners. On low setting when cooking it heats on a higher setting. Still adjusting to the GE!

This was an upgrade over an old GE cooktop and the advances that have been made are incredible. Heats up the burners extremely fast especially with the "Power Boil" feature. This will definitely save us money in the long run. Super easy to install easy to clean as well!

Looks beautiful and modern. The black glass top is hard to keep clean and appears fragile so I wish you had some trivets or something fireproof that I could put over it to put spoons, condiments, etc. that I shake into my cooking.

I love my stove top, makes my kitchen look professional, but and there is always a but, glass top is hard and alot of work to keep clean. It spots very easy and some cannot be removed. I have tried all recommend products and nothing seems to work.
