Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

I've lost sleep because of wife freaking out!
My wife and i decided to purchase this OTR to match our other GE appliances. Looks great and cooks well for basic microwaving duties. Two months in the door handle broke and I purchase parts and repaired. Now, just before 12 months it tripped the circuit breaker when open or close the door, and now it doesn't come on at all. I you look online and there is multiple sites to show you how to fix this model specifically. I also have their top of the line dishwasher, stove and refrigerator all with issues. Everything looks great "BUT", you can figure the rest. I should've purchase old basic appliances and spent the extra money in "bamboo flooring".

Good Microwave, Good Features
Bought to replace a Hotpoint that went out. Installation went fairly smooth, although the mounting nut on the top fell inside and had to retrieve. (Took a half hour, fifteen screws, and a band aid).
I like the two stage light underneath, the dual grease filters, and the quiet operation. It makes a loud clicking noise when starting, like a contact kicking in, I suppose it's normal. Heats water and food very quickly, nice power, and the multistage fan is a plus. The plastic front face is easily scratched, either that or Bounty paper towels soaked with Windex contains sandpaper. Be sure to use soft towels to wipe off or it will scratch up.

Works well until it doesn't
This model was installed with our new build in June 2020 and it worked as expected until it stopped working in Feb 2025. Unfortunately, I was surprised to discover the reason why the mircowave stopped working. It appears, one of the two leads on the transformer actually caught on fire and completely burnt one of the leads. Only about 0.25" of the 1.5" plastic charred connector lead remained and the metal wire was completely severed. Thankfully, the fire was self contained and didn't result in a larger fire in the kitchen. This is the first time we've had this experience with GE, but it doesn't sit well with us that this even happened.

High Learning Curve
The appliance came with the new construction and it has been working well; however, there is a somewhat of high learning curve to operate it. We do not think the touch pad for cook time and function are very clear. We were confused at first when we put food in the microwave, closed the door and waited to start it for a few minutes to allow other stove top foods to finish cooking. When we tried to start the microwave, we got a "FOOD" message. Back to the operators manual. OK we finally figured out that the microwave has a safe gaurd feature that asks the consumer to check there is actually food in the microwave before it starts. Still, you might have to punch a few buttons to figure it out.

Similar to my old GE microwave
I had a GE microwave for 16 yrs. and absolutely loved it! I wanted another one just like it but of course that was not to be. This one is very similar but does not compare. It doesn't cook or heat foods as fast - My old one had 2 lights about the stove, this one has only l.
The clock is a bright white light whereas the old one was green and matched my stove.
The plus side though is it fit the old bracket to hold it in place and my son only had to drill 2 holes for the top screws so he had it installed in about 45 minutes. It will take me awhile to become adjusted to the differences but I really did like my old GE better.

Needed to replace my 16 year old GE.
It's nice but in comparison to the GE appliance it replaced it appears flimsy and cheaply constructed. Doesn't have many features other than to reheat food or pop corn. The vent filters barely fit and exhaust is only two-speed and not three like my old microhood unit. There is only one light to illuminate the cooktop and not very bright. My old GE microhood had two lights and was much brighter. Not sure how long this one will last but it's sad that these cannot be repaired when they break and often have to be replaced. Just more landfill problems to haunt us later in life.

Good replacement for my broken microwave
I purchased the as a replacement for my previous GE microwave that lasted 15 years. They are pretty similar in features and not a big learning curve. There are only a couple of features that I don’t like as much as my old one. The Beverage feature does not heat my cold beverages with one touch like my last one did. I have learned I have to hit it twice to get it hot enough. Also, the plate is slightly smaller and the position of the inside light is a little off (maybe I just have to get used to it). It would have been nice if I could have used the old mounting template, but it was off by a fraction of an inch.

Great and Simple interface features
This microwave was a replacement for a 7 to 8 year older model by GE (Equivlaent replacement). Clean lines, easy to use interface for the less technology savvy people (mix of users). The only finding was that vent air on the right side would not hold up a tissue paper on hi fan. The left side was pulling great. I would venture to guess this is a plenum issue, bu the unit was pulled down to be inspected as a result of the air flow and nothing blocking the vent was obvious, of course the microwave was not taken apart to inspect the entire air plenum. Overall I would say the unit is good, other than the venting.
