Not an improvement over the old oven I replaced
This replaced a 37 year old double oven that was original to the house, and still worked fine. I tested it out on a couple of easy items. First was a frozen pizza. Second was fish sticks. In both cases, the side touching the baking sheet overcooked or burned, while the top undercooked. In both cases, I followed the cooking instruction on the package exactly, and used the scan feature for remote operation. The oven racks were at the recommended level. Not a good beginning, especially since it took almost a year to get it. Not looking forward to having to relearn how to cook again in order to use this oven. Wishing I had my old oven back.

Very good but could be better
We purchased this in white to replace our 28 year old white GE double oven. It’s very difficult to find white so our options were limited. First problem, GE changed the size of the ovens - a little bit larger so that we had to have a handyman fit the opening to the oven - very difficult as there were metal plates in the walls of the original opening. Second, the interior racks fit so tightly that they have scraped the inside of the oven walls. Last, it takes forever for this oven to heat up. Even at 28 years, the prior oven heated more quickly. Other than these issues, it is very attractive and it cooks well so far– approximately four months.

All I Need In An Oven
My new ovens were installed about a month ago, and so far I have no complaints. I wanted basic ovens without a lot of bells and whistles. These ovens do have wifi connection, which some people may find desirable but I don't anticipate using. The ovens are attractive, and the light allows me to see inside very easily (which is a nice change from my old ovens). The only quibble I have is when I'm wiping fingerprints from the control screen, the sensitive controls sometimes accidentally engage. I will be interested to see how well the steam cleaning feature works, although I hope the ovens won't need to be cleaned in the near future.

Its has a neat appearance. Appliances in home are typically three colors, white, black, or stainless steel. This appliance has the slate vs black. Black would polish it more and allow it to compliment more kitchens.
Operations:
Buttons barely need touching to activate. This should be included in instructions. Steps for timer and general operations could be improved.
Nose level:
This baby is nosy for an appliance. Its not a loud disturbing noise, but a buzz as it preheats and the same as it cools off once operation ends.
The disadvantage to having the old school elements is it takes longer to preheat and cool off.

Loud relay switch clicking every 15 to 30 seconds.
I love everything about the oven except one thing. I can hear the relay switch clicking on and off every 15 to 30 seconds even after it's preheated. the clicking can be heard from the adjoining family room even over the television. Since I couldn't be sure a different brand would not do the same thing based on some reviews I read, I decided it was a lot of trouble to return it. I will never like the clicking. I don't understand a modern product that has a clicking relay switch when older models were silent. GE has a "disclaimer" in their instruction book stating that this is normal.

Great oven
We are loving our new GE Double Wall Oven! This is the first year we will have it for the Thanksgiving holiday and it is going to make life so much easier! The plan is to cook everything a few hours before guests arrive and then keep the food warm in the second oven. Plus, I am looking forward to my holiday cookie baking with both of these ovens being used at once! Shortens the amount of time I need to wait between cookie batches. This is a great oven. I have used it several times already even though we’ve had it for only two weeks. Also love the sleek modern design to the exterior. Highly recommend this unit.

Great features Great Price!
When we decided to purchase this oven with wasn't sure since it didn't have convection. However, so far this oven has been great and is well above our expectations. We love the smart feature that allows us to pre-heat the oven remotely. "Hey Google turn the upper oven to 350 and lower oven to 415" Done! Awesome. It so far has cooked everything evenly. I gave it the true test when I baked my cookies for Christmas and they turned out fabulous! The doors are great because they don't have the bubble window pointing in like a lot of ovens so we can put 2 trays in side by side. However, when I do the 2 trays I do have to put the edge of one on top of the other but I am okay with that! Worth the money we spent so far!

Beautiful and love the features!
We replaced our other GE double oven with this one because we updated our kitchen and wanted stainless steel appliances. Our previous oven works great after 17 years of regular use! This one promises to be just as good. Love the ease in which to navigate the display. Oven heats quickly and temperature is steady. We even enjoy the soft but distinct tones when the oven preheats. Have not used all of the features including the self-cleaning but will update if we aren't completely satisfied! Best of all, this oven was installed easily into our existing cabinets we recently painted white! Very satisfied!
