GE 0.9 cu.ft. White Countertop Microwave Oven

This is a great microwave because of how companies measure microwave power. Microwaves are a measure of electromagnetic activation. GE was a pioneer in this technology. So their 900 watt, or 950 watt microwaves so not overcook your food. You can defrost and cook while you watch TV.

Compact is all we needed so we love the simplicity of the controls and choices. Food seems to cook faster than our old microwave! So far we have had a great experience with this model and we love the black stainless finish. Goes well with stainless and black appliances.

I purchased this microwave about 2 weeks ago. It fits nicely on my countertop. Doesn't seem quite as powerful as my last microwave, but it is much smaller with less wattage so I didn't expect it to. My only concern is the door button seems a little flimsy, but so far, so good. We shall see.

Other than this unit being a bit loud when it is running, it suits our needs well as we were looking for one that would have a reminder beep after the food or whatever was done. It continues to beep once every minute or so until you open the door.

This Microwave does a good job in "cooking" but the controls: time to cook, setting the shade of toast, and the temperature are difficult to learn. It takes several "sessions" to learn how to use the product. I frequently have to resort to the manual before I cook a meal.

Love it! Very modern design. Push button door that pops open. One touch starts. Beeps when it’s done. Fits a large dinner plate with plenty of power. We have this on a shelf above out stove. Also a perfect fit on a countertop.

I like the looks of this unit, and have finally grown used to the operation of it. But we've had a periodic problem for the last 1.5-yrs (since purchase) with the door-open-button NOT opening the door.

Received in 2 days. Good fit for the microwave shelf. GE did not enclose a manual. I had to request one. The clock is hard to read or tell time. Otherwise I do like the microwave.

Love my new microwave GE doesn’t disappoint. All the features needed. Never had a microwave I could mute the sound. Nice feature to have. Simple to use overall. Gets the job done
