Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

You can hardly boil water with it.
The impact of the garbage “sensi-temp technology” needs to be known to potential buyers hence the one star review for attention. If you want to boil water or lord forbid use a water bath or pressure canner good luck on this stove. The sensi temp burner constantly cuts the burner off when you’re trying to do any of these things. I’m watching our canner struggle right now to keep the temp up thanks to this trash feature. I will be replacing the burners with aftermarket ones regardless of what GE says, which is likely to cover their legal rear. This will surely void my warranty as well but I need a stove that works. Otherwise this stove is great.

Bad decision to replace with same model
Bought this model stove 2 weeks ago for my mother and it no longer works, neither the top burners nor the oven will heat up. The indicator lights for both the oven & top burners come on but they won't heat up.
I replaced her 2-year-old Hot Point electric range (same Model) experiencing the same problem, thinking it was just fluke & didn't want to spend a lot of time replacing parts. Bad decision on my part, there must be a manufacturing defect with this model. Trying to contact the service department to see if I can get a tech to come & service my mother's electric range. At this point I wouldn't recommend purchasing this model without doing some additional research.

I HATE THIS STOVE
I wish I could not give it any stars at all. I am about to have a nervous breakdown every time I cook. I cook a lot and this stove is the WORST stove I have ever used! Everything takes three times longer to cook because the burners don't stay hot. Everything I make has to be turned on to HIGH, the burners get hot enough to start cooking then they just shut right off. My food does NOT cook consistently, or thoroughly. It's HORRIBLE. The oven cooks one temp on the bottom rack an another temp on the top. I could put cookies in the over and the top rack burns while the bottom rack is fine. IT SUCKS SO BAD!!!!!

2 bad stoves
We are elderly and live in a rural area. We wanted a basic stove without a bunch of bells and whistles, so after shopping we decided on this stove. When it was delivered, we quickly noticed 2 problems...1. the oven door was crooked (bent hinges), and the oven racks were hard to move in/out. The store agreed to send us another one, and when it arrived it was even worse. We went back to the store a couple of days later, and chose a stove from a different brand. It appears that GE is having some production "issues" or their "quality control" dept. isn't doing a good job of inspecting. Our old GE stove lasted 19 years....I guess they don't make them like that anymore

Horrifically bad cooktop and oven!
Oven does not bake a thing evenly. When you put the broiler on, the top element doesn't even glow red. When you want to bake, the oven uses both elements to heat the oven to temperature. However, that leads to anything you're attempting to bake getting burnt on the top and not cooked in the middle. If you want to boil water for anything, you better have a LOT of time on your hands. Even a covered pot takes forever! This is the WORST range and stove I have ever used. I have very little choice since I rent, but I would rather cook everything in my toaster oven. DO NOT BUY!

It's a plain and simple stove to use.
This stove looks great in my small galley kitchen. It does what I need and I love how easy it is to keep clean. I looked for a stove with no front vent by the oven handle bc any stove I had it would get drips in between the oven window and I would have to take the whole oven door apart to clean the inside window. This one has the vent on top of the oven door which you can't see when closed. (No getting drips in window) Yay! Also this was the only stove I saw with a clean front , no trim around door to rust over time. I bought one for my second floor too and they love it. Kudos to GE on this design. Thank you to whom ever invented it.

Works like a charm
So jumping into the cons, I really don’t like not having a timer or clock. That’s probably the number one thing anyone doesn’t like about this range. But honestly I bought this range already knowing that.
The pros about this range is a lot but it’s basically that the thing works like a charm. The design of it refreshingly simplistic without complicated buttons. It heats up quickly and the over evenly cooks our meals! It’s also easy to clean- it’s designed so that the knobs can just pop off when you want to wipe them down; and it’s shaped so that if you accidentally spill something, it’ll stay on the stove and won’t hit the ground.

GE Reliability
This is your basic Electric coil oven by GE with modern center ring sensor technology. There is no backlighting or clock. Sweep dials are conveniently located in rear at easy to read field of view. Regarding most all modern Stove-tops, proper choice of cookware is necessary; do your homework if you are currently using Tri-clad (Copper-Steel-Alum) or other not recommended surface contact specifications. Oven has performed excellent and not needed to re-calibrate or double check temp for accuracy; all recipes are perfect using this unit's settings. Large oven area and viewing window. Bright lighting makes it easy to see what' cooking!
