The worst I have ever used
I have never encountered a worse washing machine. Clothing comes out of an normal wash cycle with DRY patches on it, if you forget to close the lid all the water drains out ten minutes later with no way to stop it, there is no “extra rinse”, no way to soak (all the water drains out automatically if you try), the delicate cycle doesn’t even get all the clothes wet let alone clean, it is the LOUDEST washer/drier I’ve ever heard (the “precise fill” water option sounds like a space ship taking off...). It’s impossible to tell where in the wash cycle it is. will never purchase a GE washer after this experience.

Best Decision Ever
I received this the day after Thanksgiving. Washed several loads already. The washer is much bigger than I thought it would be. Put a queen size comforter in and it wasn't even close to full. Same with the dryer. I love the features you have to choose from too. It washes and dries fast. It takes up little space and hold as much as the big bulky machines. I had the same kind but different brand name. It could never compare to this one. It was the same dimensions but so very small inside, didn't hold much and too small for my comforter. I am so happy I bought this machine. It is the very best decision I could have made. Thank you GE!!

Best washer dryer combo ever.
This washer dryer is surprisingly bigger than what the photo shows. When I had this washer dryer delivered it was a lot bigger than what I was expecting. But still managed to fit inside the space I needed. I have used the washer for about seven loads so far. And I have not been disappointed whatsoever. The spin cycle gets the clothing surprisingly dry. I honestly believe I could hang this laundry outside and in 30 minutes it would be dry. This product has been over engineered to the max. And that's in a good way. On top of that the simplicity of the controls are unmatched. I am really happy with the purchase I made.

Regret buying it.
The reviews were not flattering, but I live in Alaska, and you buy what's available. The reviews were correct. This machine is noisy. The spin cycle is unnecessarily long. The wash cycle is loud. The tub at maximum setting only fills 2/3. There is one cycle that makes the machine sound like a cow that is moaning or crying. There are too many unnecessary features making it complicated. It is not user friendly, it's loud. I regret buying it. I threw in some baking soda during the rinse cycle. It came out in clumps in the clothes making me think the agitation just swirls it around and doesn't actually agitate.

Needs a noise to let us know when the dryer load !
I have one complaint that may not sound like a serious one, but it is for me. The dryer does not sound a noise when the clothes are dry. I have never owned a dryer that didn't and I often have to put some wet clothes in and redry the load or else haul out the iron to rid the clothes of wrinkles which happened because they did not get removed from the dryer in time to avoid becoming wrinkled. I don't know anyone that likes to iron and I hate this. Absolutely hate this!! Why on earth would you stop putting a "dryer is finished" noise on the machine. The washer doesn't need that, because it doesn't matter if they don't get noticed right away since they are wet.

washer won't lock to complete full cycle
our lid lock is not working so the washer won't rinse, spin or drain unless you catch it when it makes 3 clicking sounds in an attempt to lock and smack down the lid - which is easy to miss and annoying to manually do. our stack also gets really loud and hot - it seems like the motor is overworking in some way. we have been trying to get a service appointment but they have not been able to find someone who could come repair it. the first provider they scheduled was retired and 2 other providers declined - not sure what's going on but it is frustrating that we can't do laundry until GE helps escalate this! (it's been 6 weeks)

Had an old stacked unit forever that was great,unfortunately they don't make them anymore,so, now have this unit,biggest piece of junk ever,constantly gets out of balance making a racket until it straightens its self out(you can stop it&move the clothes around,but that does no good, it doesn't get things as clean as our old one.Recently (my bad) I left twn nuts off bolts in my pocket& by the time I heard it,I looked in the drum and saw hloes in the plastic agitator at the fins on the bottom of it,VERY cheaply made,had the old until for 17 yrs and forgot nuts,pocket knives,ect thru the years and NEVER put a hole it it,

Self Destruct Sequence
This is generally a fine washer dryer, but it is positively obsessed with breaking itself. Placing a small load into the washer bin will reliably cause the appliance to shake itself so hard that its panels will fall off. This occurs whether or not the load size is set to 'small' or 'precise'. I'm aware that this is minor for most people, but it means that I have to wait until I have a bigger load in the event that I have genuinely dirty clothes that need to be washed immediately - used beach towels, a coffee stain, mud, etc. are going to have to wait until I have enough clothes to fill half the bin or else the appliance will loudly dance its way loose from the ductwork.
