We bought the dryer about 6 months ago and then our washer went out so we bought the matching washing machine. It’s a great machine and priced at a good value. We like the additional rinse option. Our old washer left a residue on our clothes and we really like the extra rinse and spin function
We left our washer/ dryer at the house we moved out of, so needed new ones. This washer fit the need for load sizes and the types of things we wash besides clothing. All the setting are what we wanted and other than possibly leaving the cloths a bit less rinsed than our other washer, we are still...
It a very practical machine. The is large enough that you can get more clothes done in one load. A big help is the GE apparently will rebalance a load by itself. There are enough settings to allow you to do special washings, for example delicate clothing. The GE washer is definitely recommended.
I've been using this washer for a few weeks now and have zero complaints. I love all the options, the size, and how gentle it is even on a regular wash. Especially like the sense-fill option so I don't have to guess the load size, but I also like that you can choose to add more water during a cycle...
My new General Electric Washer did a lot of shaking the first time I used it. I found you have to be VERY careful about balancing the clothes around the tub or it will shake. I don't like the noise it makes, a squishing and turning sound at the same time. It's near the bedroom so it's noticeable.
The washing machine is generally quiet, which is nice; clothes are clean after washing; and if there was any negative to this washing machine is that the little tune it plays at the end of the wash cycle is not very loud and would be nice to have the tune a little louder so that one knows when the...
Too many "bells and whistles" for a senior citizen used to a 20-year old model. Have to go online for a full manual (honestly, not everyone has computer/internet equipment/skills!). I am wasting my money on fabric softener, because the clothes come out of the washer stiff, just like none was used.
Purchased in July 2023 and so far, I really like this washer's features, cycle selections, and appearance. It's too soon to review performance for longevity. However, I want to point out that it is very important to follow the manufacturer's usage instructions precisely.
Love everything about the way it washes. Especially that my clothes are almost dry when the cycle is done. Love the extra spin option and the extended soak option. Love that I can still open the lid after it starts to fill. Only issue is that it's pretty loud when it's running.
In general we like the machine, but there are two things I'm not liking. This machine is louder and makes groaning sounds while in Wash mode. Our old Maytag had a lint trap in the agitator column that would catch a fair amount of lint and pet hair. This machine doesn't have that.
