Poor performance
I have had two of these units now. Both have the same problem; the top freezer door pops open when you close the bottom door. On the first unit, I thought it was a bad seal; however, after sending it back and getting a replacement I had the same problem. I had the supplier come out and level the unit to make sure that was not the issue. I went back to the supplier and looked at the floor model. On the floor model I was able to expose the same flaw. So out of three units, they all 3 have the same problem. If you decide to purchase one, make sure you put a note on it to check the freeze door after each use or your ice cream will melt.

Fridge has not cooled to safe level since purchase
This is an indoor setting. The fridge section has not cooled to below 40F since I purchased. I filled the fridge with water jugs and bottles to test before putting food inside it. First service tech said I needed to put more food inside it and tested temperature using his hands saying it was cool enough. Second service tech said that setting freezer to max automatically cuts fridge temp even if fridge is set to max. The fridge still does not cool below 40F and has wasted food.
I'm calling a third time, but I've basically only had a sorta working freezer (it does not stay below temp either all the time) and broken fridge since purchase.

Shelf Placement
This refrigerator is a good product. The quantity of product that can be placed in the door is incredible, and I love that. The only issue I have with this refrigerator is the shelf placement inside the actual refrigerator. The placement of the top shelf allows it to be only some inches from the top of the refrigerator which limits what you can put on the shelf significantly. If you lower the shelf to the next bracket, it, of course, makes more space between the shelf and the top of the refrigerator, but then you cannot fit a Tupperware tea jug container on the shelf below because the shelf is now too low. This is the only issue I have with this project.

It's a terrible refrigerator for a small apartment. It keeps running and running seems takes forever to get to its temp! then when it does may go off Goes back on. I d o not open the doors but it seems temp has dropped as I try to peak in... Why have a refrigerator if you should not open it?? What is causing temp drop!!! its only almost 2 weeks old!!! in my 72 years of living never had such a bad refrigerator, plus its loud when it runs!!! Purring is gone. If so they say a refrig runs 80-90% of the time yet mine seems to go on high velocity but out put is bull!!! if on high then blow harder., This refrigerator is a piece of crap!!! you will never have silence in your apartment!!!

Nice and big but needs work on removal protective
Well here's the things I would like to see, a video showing you how to remove this protective coating from both doors, a video showing how to properly install the handles and how to change the side of the doors to the other side. Other than that, the effort to get the protective coating off is somewhat frustrating, but again videos would help this a great deal. Then you would earn four stars, the only thing left is get some of the waves out of the interior of the refrigerator that has waves. They should be flat or curved but not no dented. There's a depression in one side of the refrigerator. Seems to be the thing going with your general electric refrigerators

lots of room - only one problem
The only issue with this model is opening the storage drawer that is located on the same side that the door is mounted on. The door must be COMPLETELY wide open, until it is totally clear of the refrig edge, to be able to open the lower drawer.
I can say that in all the refrigerators we have owned in the past 40+ yrs, this was never encountered like this one. Our previous location had a built-in fridge area and it would've been a problem.
There is just something different about how this model is assembled(?) Sadly, it has really caused us a problem in Where/How we can place ours and made it very awkward to access.

This refrigerator is not cooling - LEMON
This refrigerator "struggles" to cool lower than 42 deg. F.
Average temperature has only been 45 deg. F.
Freezer will "freeze" perfect - 6 deg. F
The first repair tech indicated that the settings (freezer & refrigerator) were not correct. So we let the tech config the settings that HE picked. The tech also indicated that the "analog" temperature gauge was not accurate. Refrigerator still not cooling lower than 45 deg. F.
We scheduled a second visit to resolve this issue. If this issue cannot be resolved, the refrigerator is a "LEMON" and needs to be replaced, no more excuses from repair tech, no more excuses from GE.

GE refrigerator
My refrigerator was delivered Saturday morning. The temperature controls were set by installers. I was told the refrigerator would take 24 hours to the temperature it was set. The freezer works correctly, but my refrigerator is just cool. I have a cup of water in refrigerator and it is not cold, just barely cool. I turned refrigerator to highest level and it barely made a difference. I now turned freezer to highest temperature to see if that will cool the refrigerator. I have my milk and other dairy products in a cooler so they do not spoil. I called the store that I purchased the refrigerator and was told to contact GE about the problem. I am very frustrated!
