Horrible product. SOOO LOUD. Cheap wire shelves.
This is by far the worse fridge I've ever owned. Bar none. The motor sounds like a plane trying to take off. The lighting is almost non existent with LED's you can't even replace. Why not a bulb? Why tiny little LED's attached to the main board? Even worse, this page actually brags about them! Like they are a good feature. One of the drawers can't pull out because the fridge door is too thick and can't open fully unless you have 180 degree clearance for the door. The black finish scratches so easily, this thing will be silver in a year. I really needed a fridge quick. Shame on me for trusting this brand. I will never buy this brand again.

Beautiful fridge but loud
The fridge has beautiful design features, nice LED lights on the inside, and overall good operation. The downside is the noise when running. Other reviews online show the same thing in that they took a good design and made it louder in the current version. My old fridge was 29 years old and was still quieter than this one despite running a lot harder. I would encourage GE to work on noise control or they will lose customers. Pros include nice clear shelf design and plenty of space with cons including noise and temp control is not split for fridge/freezer (one control).

Good refrigerator but....
For the price that I gave for this fridge, it should have better shelves than the wire ones that came with it. When I go to get something out of the fridge, everything on the shelf behind it falls out on my feet. I wear sandals year round in Central Florida, so I keep bruised toes 24/7. God help me if something in a glass bottle slides out and falls on my feet and breaks. Other than that, I'm happy with the GE fridge. It replaced a Frigidaire that was purchased new and worked 3 days and quit. I started housekeeping in 1972 with a Kelvinator fridge that was my parents and was older than I was. They don't make things like they used to.

This was the only product that was available that fit into the space that I had my choices were severely limited. I understand this is not the top-of-the-line that you make but as I said this was my only option that fit. At this point is it is extremely noisy at different periods of time as it cycles. Last night for some reason there were three points in its cycling that were so loud that it woke me up. It is at least bigger than what I had before but the cycling noise sometimes is very annoying. I would recommend this refrigerator only “as I have to have something.”

We needed to replace our defunct 21-yr-old refrigerator. Our kitchen is small and space is limited; therefore, we measured carefully and tried to find a fridge of the same size. This was the closest we could find. It’s 3" deeper than fits comfortably in our space, has fewer features, has fewer shelves, and the refrigerator capacity is smaller than its predecessor. It keeps food appropriately cold, but the freezer temp hovers above 0°. There is no separate control for freezer temperature.

Poor design
The lighting is horrible. It should have glass shelving instead of the cheap wire racks. Now I have to deal with the fact that stuff may fall thru the wires. Can’t change the light bulb for a brighter one. The worse part is that it only comes with one little poorly designed bulb. Why can’t they make it two easy to replace bulbs like most other refrigerators. I wish I could return the piece of junk Also needs to have a third shelve on the door. Please stop making poorly designed appliances. I would never recommend this thing to anyone.
