Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Well...it works
Overall this is a well-built, attractive, easy-to-operate range. However, it is missing two features that I had in the twenty year old GE Profile Spectra that this range replaced: The old range had a gas broiler, which was great. This new one has an electric broiler. Still does the job, but if I'd done my research I might have chosen a different model. And the old range had the ability to delay when the oven would start so it could be set to turn on when I was away from home. This new one doesn't have that capability -- a MAJOR disappointment. Again, if I'd done my research I WOULD have chosen a different model, or even a different brand.

Bare Bones That My Builder Forced On Me
The builder selected and installed this range. It is bare bones and definitely not what I would have selected. It came with a griddle down the middle, nice perhaps for a few people. I prefer having a cooking grate. My last range from Samsung had the cooking grate and included the griddle so you can swap out as you wanted. The griddle on this GE model is low end and everything on it will stick. I plan on replacing this range with a better built range from another brand. I liked GE 40 years ago but I am no longer a fan. Their products tend to be of lesser quality in terms of materials and features. Again, the builder picked this and I have hated it from day one.

Sleek design, good features
Nice oven with useful features. The all black color looks sleek and modern. Touch menu is easy to operate. Self clean as well as steam clean are good features. The Crisp mode is useful for a model that does not have an internal airfryer. The broiler is inside the top of the oven which leaves the bottom drawer for storage. The elongated 5th grill burner with the cast iron griddle is a great feature as well. The BTUs on the burners are adequate, although I'm used to slightly higher with my former Whirlpool stove. Also the sound of the ready alerts could be louder. Overall I am happy with this in the few weeks I've had it and would recommend it.

Likely not a popular opinion!!
This range is functional. I am NOT a fan of the center griddle, but when shopping, there was no other better option. The same with the raised burner grates. They are an excellent way to get burned though, but as already mentioned there was no other better option. The controls are often a mystery, perhaps if the unit came with a user guide it would be better. I resorted to an old school timer rather than the frustration of setting the timer on the stove itself. Overall I have concluded this whole thing was designed by a male who was trying to create the next new thing. The range is functional as I said at the beginning of this review and at the time of purchase I needed functionality .

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new GE range. The large gas burners are great and the griddle is so much fun! I have been coming up with excuses to use it! Because the knobs are on the front of the appliance, the cook surface is maximized. The controls panel is simple and straightforward, which i like. The oven is spacious and offers a "crisp" mode designed to act like an air-fryer. We chose he black to go with our other appliances. And it looks amazing. The only thing I might change is how the pan storage drawer on the bottom opens. It is a little awkward to open the way the handle is designed. But overall really thrilled with our purchase!

Look nice
The bottom drawer feels like tin when you pull it out, you expect the drawer to be heavy and it’s not it rolls out very fast and comes off the track then you can’t get it back in.The space in the bottom drawer is much smaller. in the front of the range no matter where you’re cooking on the front burners above the knobs, get very hot. I have to be careful if my grandchildren come in the room that they don’t touch the range while I’m cooking, the grates are Very heavy and it’s hard picking up Two at the same time especially when you’re an older person my last stove had four grates separately Easier to clean and easier to pick up there’s no on and off button. You have to figure out read the book Cancel button is the off button

Poor cooktop/griddle burner desisgn! HEAVY!
We recently upgraded a 25 year old poorly insulated propane range to this one bought from a local retailer. Just about anything will make you happy after cooking on an old range where the bake times are double! My husband installed it in no time and adjusted the burners to lessen the flame output which was suggested in the manual though the screw to adjust flame output was tricky to find (and he's an electrician/handyman by trade). So far baking times have been accurate and cooking on the cook top is fine. Unfortunately my local shop did not have this model in stock when we purchased over labor day and I went off online reviews. I regret I did not meet this model in person before purchasing.
CONS-
SO HARD TO CLEAN- There are three continuous welded cast iron pieces that cover the cooktop. They are incredibly heavy- which yes helps with heat conductivity but no way would I recommend this stove top for anyone with chronic pain or is elderly and cannot lift heavy things unless of course you never clean your stovetop. To make it worse- whoever designed these made it so they interlock in the middle at the griddle section - meaning you have to remove ALL THREE PIECES to wipe down anything underneath. I am a mother of three and our primary cook and this is big pain in the a** to me as I am busy enough!! This in and of it self makes me regret buying this. To add to my frustration you can see little rest point where legs on the griddle could have been welded to correspond so then at least you'd have 3 separate sections to lift off one at a time. We are considering taking it to a welding friend to see if he can remove the interlocking pieces from the sides so I can at least remove one section of griddle /burner covers at a time. A MUCH BETTER design would to have each griddle/component be individual so I could remove one at a time. Better for weight distribution as well. I hope I am expressing my rage about this flawed design well enough??!?! lol
DISPLAY LIGHT is WAY TOO BRIGHT at night. Even my 15 year old Bose stereo was designed so that it dims once the lights go down- why did GE not employ this technology? I have to cover it with a towel at night b/c I hate blue light so much.
FRONT LEFT BURNER is huge and I HATE the placement!!! I don't want my largest burner to my left as a right handed person and the majority of people are right handed. I want my largest burner in the back right corner to hold my big cast iron or my stock pot- this design feels like it was made by some male designer in a high rise who has never spent any time in a working home kitchen. It feels awkward and dangerous to have to reach across the big skillet to get to say the small oatmeal pot in the back and risk burning my forearm as I'm sauteing onions and peppers in the front.
Other notes-
I have not yet used the air fry function. Convect is a nice feature. So far it's OK, but of course I use the cook top every single day multiple times a day and my oven less so, so I've given the cook top a lot of consideration. Would I buy this again? No. I am begrudgingly making use of it since this is a problem of privilege but let's all face it poor design is part of American capitalism these days. Hopefully I get 25 years out of it.

Happy so far
So far so good. We just installed it today so time will tell. This oven has all the features I wanted-self-clean, crisp mode, fast preheat, and the griddle in the middle should prove to be nice. I'm replacing a 25 year old Whirlpool so I'm hoping this GE last as long and cooks as well. I'm a cook/baker so a good stove, especially the oven, is important. We installed it ourselves and the install wasn't too complicated other than getting to the oven orifice to change it over to propane. Everything seems to be working well. I'm happy so far.
