Probably. The GE GFD85ESPNRS is currently the best GE dryer we’ve tested. Many cycles produce bone-dry laundry, and it has a unique aesthetic with some fun finishes. It does have some performance missteps, but as long as you stick with the better cycles you'll do just fine.

Poor Quick Dry and Bulky/Bedding cycle, Expensive
This dryer can dry a lot of clothes at one time. Great if you have a big family or do large loads of laundry. It also gives you numerous options on how to dry your clothes so you won't damage them.
Dries clothes well and I love the WiFi feature to notify me the load is done (& remind me again when I'm busy with kids) however large loads do not always dry all the way through with auto sensing. Normal loads are dried well.
I never thought I would be the guy to spend so much on a washer and dryer! But I'm now that guy! Yes they are a bit pricey, but these are beautiful machines that make doing laundry no longer a chore but an adventure!
We are very pleased at the excellent performance of this "new" type of dryer. It has features that other dryers do not have, Well worth the extra money. We also bought the matching washer and it is terrific.
We love that the dryer talks to the washer and we don't have to set the cycle after moving the clothes from the wash to the dryer. The extra-large drum is fantatic for bulky items.
An absolutely amazing dryer! between the Wi-Fi smart link to the washing machine and the quick drive function along with the steam refresh cycle, I couldn't ask for anything more.
