Really great machines!
I bought this washer and dryer about 9 months ago and I absolutely LOVE them. Not only are they beautiful, but they really are the right height, quiet, and wash very well. I truly enjoy washing clothes now, and don't mind doing a load each day. They make our laundry room look so nice that I can keep the door open, and they just blend right in with our home's décor! The only thing that I had to get used to was the length of the wash cycle. But, it's worth it when your clothes come out clean and no worse for the wear every time. Great buy, I highly recommend these!

Washer failed after four years
I have the matching dryer and wanted to love this GE set. Though I love the pedestal height and aesthetic, this washer is NOT RELIABLE. After less than four years of usage, the washer would continually repeat the spin cycle and leak water. We had a reputable appliance repair company diagnose the unit. I was informed that so many parts were worn and broken that it would be cheaper to replace the entire unit vs. repairing. So disappointed! I take very good care of this washer and only use small loads. This experience has sourced my impression of GE as a brand.

Almost the Right Height
My shiny, bright washing machine is quietly humming away with the first load of the day. I'm very impressed with how well it works. I haven't had reason to use the steam function, but when the time comes, I know I'll be happy with it. The one somewhat negative point, which was easily fixed, is the "right height". I wanted my washer and dryer to be the right height to transfer clothes without bending over and further stressing my aging back. I purchased the drawer pedistals for both machines and now the wet clothing transfer is no longer a problem.

Notyour grandmother’s dryer!
This is sooo nice! Big and functional, with all the bells and whistles one could ever want, I am delighted with my dryer! Laundry is a daily chore in my house, but this makes my life easier, more enjoyable and thereby making me a happier camper! Plus, it’s built like a tank, so I know it will last a long time. I am so excited to grab some popcorn and watch my clothes go around and around! (not really... too busy for that, but you get the point! lol) Thank you for putting so much care and effort into this product. Most sincerely, Paula Young

Very good overall, door latch does not work well
Overall, the dryer works great. The only problem is the door latch. It is hard to latch the door and sometimes the door opens on its own while running.
