Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.
Greentoe will definitely be one of the first places I check before making a major purchase. Let's get the word out, and let the free market dictate prices. Craig Barton Scottsdale AZ"View article

Impractical and inconvenient design layout
The dishwasher has 3 drawers, but limits the height of everyday items you can place in because of this. I actually find the top one for more delicate items pretty useless because it really can’t be more than about 3” in height. Also, the wheels on the bottom drawer frequently fall off because there’s no track for it to stay on when you are sliding it out to unload. The house smelled awful and I was shocked when I opened the dishwasher and smelled the most godawful burning smell. The wheel had fallen off and was burning on the bottom of the dishwasher. So now I have to replace that for a new one, but the design challenge remains.

Had high hopes …
Throughly disappointed. It takes hours to run a cycle!? And the dishes, the cups & the dishwasher racks themselves are still wet? Does the heated dry even work? I paid a grand for this lemon and now I wish I would’ve replaced the dishwasher with another Hotpoint.
I read the downloadable manual. I followed their instructions on checking the water temperature at the tap. It was in the upper range. I tried the boost dry option, the water temperature boost, how to arrange the cups, etc.
We’ve had this dishwasher about two weeks, I don’t think it is working properly. I’ve checked how it was operating mid cycle & it didn’t seem like it was even hot or steamy?

Avoid At All Costs
First with the good things. Quiet and nice to have the jets in the silverware part.
This thing suffers from horrible engineering problem. The wheels constantly get stuck on the door when pulling the rack out causing them to fall off. Incredibly annoying. Silverware bin always gets hung on on unit when trying to push the lower rack in. I don't know how many times we've pulled out the lower rack and it just goes completely off track. None of this is an issue with our unit. It purely engineering issue. I would avoid at all costs. We plan to replace this immediately. I'm baffled at how this would get past a QC team.

New Dishwasher
I needed a new dishwasher. I bought a model GDT670SGVOWW, Simply because of the price and my wife liked. I installed it.This was probably my 8th dishwasher. I have rentals so over time I have installed a few things. The one thing I had to do with this unit was attach the "Trim pieces" onto the side and top, these pieces take up the space between the cabinet and washer as well as add to noise reduction. Step nine in the owners guide. Poor description and diagrams. Other than that pretty straight forward instalation. So I turned it on and I am running it for first time, no leaks, it's quiet. I will let you know how it holds up over the years.

Glad we bought it
Replaced 20 year old GE with this one. All fittings have changed over 20 years, so install kit is absolutely necessary (mainly to get the 90 degree garden hose water elbow). Very quiet, barely can hear it. Bottle washer cleans coffee tumblers very well. Electric box was absolute nightmare to box up and tighten screw! Normal dry setting dried well enough for us. Stainless steel tub looks and feels clean and bright and may possibly prevent corrosion (old tub was 20 YO with no sign of corrosion). Recommend stainless tub. Product weighs about twice the old one, and that contributes to its silence. Great product (so far after 1 week of use)

Appreciate clean and quiet
Dishwasher works great. I've always had to completely rinse dishes before putting in the dishwasher, not anymore! Woohoo! Dishes are clean with just removing loose food. I'm definitely saving on water usage. I like the 3 levels, just have to remember to empty the top;) The adjustable middle level is easy to use and practical. It does require fore thought on dish arrangement, but figuring out what dishes go where the more I use it. Appreciate the delay start so the washer comes on after watching TV in the evening, so no more forgetting to turn on before bed. But, came on last night while watching TV and could hardly hear it. Super quiet!

Does the job
This is an early review, so it is not meant to suggest what may occur months from now. I have only had the unit a few weeks, and I had a prior GE unit this one replaced. It is very quiet, and the countdown clock is useful. I had a frying pan that was heavily encrusted with burned on food, so I set it on heavy cycle, and pan came out as if it hadn't been used. No, not totally shiny, but no worse than it was before I fried the food. I usually set it on normal or auto sense, and may not have had to use the heavy setting. In choosing this unit, I wanted the stainless steel interior. I expect to use the bottle washing feature soon. The controls are very intuitive. So far, I have used air drying, so the beep at the end of the cycle is useful.

Quiet & Reliable (service tech rec.)
We got ours to replace the builder grade dishwasher that came with the house. My brother in law works at an appliance store in another state. He works in the service department so is very familiar with which brands fail/break/need servicing and which ones don’t. He recommended GE for its reliability and quiet rating.
This thing is great. It is so quiet, we forget that it’s even on. The only complaint I would have is it seems to run for over 2 hours for a full cleaning cycle. This includes washing and drying the dishes. I never thought to clock the time for our old dishwasher but I’m sure it was faster. Nonetheless, we love our new GE dishwasher.
