Do NOT order this dishwasher. We've already had five technicians out and it is still leaking at the bottom left corner of the door and, in general, the door doesn't want to stay closed. Sometimes it takes five or six times to close it before it will start.
After multiple attempts with a variety of different dishwashers, we finally found one that was we loved. This model has a very sleek look to it, the hidden controls are very user-friendly, and it cleans effectively and quietly.
Interesting to note that the GE site rejected my review. All I said was it doesn't work. What a bunch of crooks.
The rack feels flimsey, does not hold as many dishes as my previous GE dish washer. Otherwise, I would give it a ten for all other opinion.
I did a lot of research on dishwashers before making this purchase and it seemed like if you didn't buy a Bosch, you can expect a lot of problems since they don't build them like they used to.
I got a new machine and was happy about it just to experience two breaks in 6 months, once the computer second was the water pump. Waiting for repairs from GE was the worst. I had to wait more than two weeks for the repair.
We have only had our dishwasher for a couple weeks but are very happy with it so far. It looks great and we are amazed by how quiet it runs. The only complaint I have is that you need an elbow connector to connect the water line to.
Worst brand of Dishwasher imaginable. I can't say enough bad things about this product or GE in general. The one we have will work 50% of the time, then other 50% it will just beep and flash the start light. When it's in the "I don't want to work mode" there is nothing that can make it happy.
This is the third dishwasher we have owned. Two were cheap ones installed by the builders of our first two houses. This one we bought after our last one died. It is by far the most expensive one we've owned and by far the worst one.
I bought this dishwasher at Home Depot and had no issues for about a year until someone new moved into my household. I suddenly started having issues with the door not staying closed when trying to start the wash cycle.
