GE 24,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner - Energy Star

Both units were 24,000 BTU, but this GE is significantly quieter, and cools better. If it holds up in our Houston summers, it is a much better unit. So far, I love it! It is so much quieter and really cools great. Easy to install as well.

We got this one 2 weeks ago. I read reviews before hand on other sites before choosing this one. It was easy to put in the window. So far we love it. Its a little loud but we can live with that. Its the best ac unit we ever have owned. We have bought 6 over the years. We always go back to GE.

This a.c.is great and puts out some serious cold air. I live in a small house and i have to keep it in low because it diers its job too well. It can be somewhat loud due to size, but it works great!

We bought this for our home because of an emergency need. It is one of our hottest summers we have had and our central unit is shot! This unit is cooling our whole house with ease! I may just let this unit be our main air conditioning unit.

We finally replaced an old 18 kBTU unit in our vacation cottage and could not be happier with the new GE 18kBTU unit! So much quieter, more efficient, and super cold! Love the remote too!!

B ought this unit to replace one that was 17 years old, I hope that it will last as long.

So far so good, if I had a complaint, it would be the noise but I am still satisfied with it because I really needed it

This air conditioner is in our dining room and when you sit down for a meal you have to cut if off if you want to carry on a conversation at the table. This is really problematic because the dining room is open to the living room and even part of the kitchen area.

Great features at an affordable price! Looks great!
