G-Tech has always been a reliable product for me in the field. I have several of these and they are bullet proof.

RAID 0 for fast data transfer, triple interface, compact

It is no longer made :( Grabbing one of these since they are now EOL.
This drive is the drive of choice by both my editor and cinematographer (I do film work). I asked them what drive they prefer and both cited this one for a variety of reasons. Reliability, ease, speed, durability, etc. I can't argue with that, and have had absolutely no problems with these drives.
This HDD was a perfect edition to my video editing workflow. I bought it to house my raw video files from weddings and other events while I edited them in FCPX. I keep it on RAID0 and it definitely sped up FCPX as I could tell a noticeable difference in how quickly it referenced the video files, as...
Kinda bulky, but works well.

Usually these are reliable drives, but not this one.

I'm a cameraman and use these to dump raw footage from the camera in the field, so reliability is a must. I got this unit in and went on a shoot. I was able to transfer 1 SD card of data to the G-Raid.
I've own G-Raids for years now. I have the previous Mini with the eSata, USB2 and FW800 ports. That worked great and still does. In terms of this one, the drive works great. The fan can get a little noisy, but no big deal. However, the USB 3.0 port is a bust on my drive. Won't work.
My parents needed a hard drive to store family pictures on. I, the geek that I am, had custom build a RAID 0 4TB hard drive. When purchasing this product, I originally believed it was similar to the one that I had built. However, the enclosure is a extremely nice and durable aluminum.
I have this set up to mirror the two internal drives. I think. Since you can't see the separate drive lights working, you really can't be sure that both drives are copies of each other.
I purchased a G-Technology G-RAID Mini USB 3.0 (preconfigured to RAID 0) in June 2013. I read many bad reviews about the USB 2.0 version of the G-RAID Mini, but I rolled the dice hoping the USB 3.0 version would be better. I was wrong. The G-RAID Mini worked for about 10 minutes until failing.
it wouldn't mount! weird set up and the raids weren't showing in disk aid, not sure what happened to this great brand to manufacture defective hard drives.
