This is an excellent lens. It's big (and heavy), and it's expensive, but those are the sacrifices you have to make for a modern ultra-wide zoom. It's a real step up from my Canon 10-22mm optically, and the extra 2mm on the long end really matters; it's much more flexible, and so I can leave it on my...
I just returned from a trip to Europe, in which this zoom ended up living on my camera pretty much the whole time (occasionally replaced by the 35/1.4). It did fabulously well: tack-sharp across the frame, and the OIS worked remarkably well: I used it at night frequently.
Awesome sharp lens!!!
Only wish I'd bought it earlier - the self correction when used with the XT-1 or XT10 is spot on - not weather-sealed which is why I waited, but Fuji seem in no rush to produce one so went for it and very pleased with reults.
I got this to replace the lens that came with the X-T10 and although it cost more than the body it's been well worth it. My only issue (but not sure if this is me doing something wrong) is that I can't seem to film using this lens. Apart from that it's amazing.
This lens was they last "piece of the puzzle" in my switch from Nikon to Fuji. It took the place of my 12-24 f4. EVERYTHING you hear about Fuji is TRUE! They make great cameras and optics. I used Nikon for 40+ years and made the switch in 2016. Fuji's not for everyone, but, it was for me.
I love this lens. It is really sharp and the AF is really fast. I used with my T1 and now with my T2. It is a little bit chunky but not huge as wide angle for other camera brands (I had the Tokina 12-24 F4 for Nikon it was bigger that this Fuji 10-24).
Just an enthusiastic hobbyist, not a professional photographer so take this for what it's worth, but I absolutely love this lens. Wicked sharp, fast, minimal flare for an ultra wide angle. Very pricey for my budget but worth every penny.
Pros: Sharp! Super build quality. Cons: Zoom ring is VERY tight. You won't be adjusting it with one finger.
This lens is worth the money. It is really worth the extra mms for landscape over the 14.
