I switched from Canon full frame to Fuji and this was my first lens. I friend recommended it. I absolutely love it. I have nothing but great things to say. I seriously don't even notice that I'm not shooting a full frame. The distortion is minimal, not to mention the size and weight.
A superbly sharp lens covering a very wide focal range. The image stabilization is a plus though not as necessary as on longer lenses. Do I wish it was a f/2.8, of course, but with the image stabilization I am happy with the size/weight vs. speed tradeoff.
I would buy this lens if it was discounted at least 30-40% off. Most of them are made in china with cheap labor at a very low cost to the company. No excuse for a lens to be so expensive. I will stick to the Kit lens for now.
I just took this lens on a trip to southern Utah along with the XF18-135. The 10-24 was on my XT2 for 90% of the trip. I am very happy with the focal length range and image quality of this ultra-wide zoom. I highly recommend it for landscape as well as interior shots.
This is an excellent lens. It's big (and heavy), and it's expensive, but those are the sacrifices you have to make for a modern ultra-wide zoom. It's a real step up from my Canon 10-22mm optically, and the extra 2mm on the long end really matters; it's much more flexible, and so I can leave it on my...
I just returned from a trip to Europe, in which this zoom ended up living on my camera pretty much the whole time (occasionally replaced by the 35/1.4). It did fabulously well: tack-sharp across the frame, and the OIS worked remarkably well: I used it at night frequently.
Awesome sharp lens!!!
Only wish I'd bought it earlier - the self correction when used with the XT-1 or XT10 is spot on - not weather-sealed which is why I waited, but Fuji seem in no rush to produce one so went for it and very pleased with reults.
I got this to replace the lens that came with the X-T10 and although it cost more than the body it's been well worth it. My only issue (but not sure if this is me doing something wrong) is that I can't seem to film using this lens. Apart from that it's amazing.
This lens was they last "piece of the puzzle" in my switch from Nikon to Fuji. It took the place of my 12-24 f4. EVERYTHING you hear about Fuji is TRUE! They make great cameras and optics. I used Nikon for 40+ years and made the switch in 2016. Fuji's not for everyone, but, it was for me.
