The X-H2S is Fujifilm's most ambitious X-series camera yet, and one of its most adaptable. Its AF system isn't always a match for its most extreme burst speeds but with a little tuning it can deliver impressive hit-rates.

Photographers who don't need its performance features
The Fujifilm X-H2S is amazing for studio video. It can record video at up to 6.2k with internal 10-bit 4:2:2 color from the full width of the sensor. 6.2k and 4k up to 30 fps are also recorded from a 14-bit readout when using the F-Log 2 profile, allowing the camera to capture a wider dynamic range...

Overall, the camera is very balanced and easy to handle. It’s a bit of a goldilocks for these hybrid still/video cameras. For under $2,500, you get a beast of a camera. You can record ProRes internally and capture beautiful 6.2K footage at 29.97 frames per second open-gate.
If you're looking for an APS-C camera for sports photography and videos, the X-H2S is one of the best around. This camera is all about speed, and if fast bursts and slow-motion video are high priorities then the X-H2S won't disappoint.

Pricier than many full-frame cameras, Lacks charm of Fuji’s retro cameras, AF still just behind class-leaders
The X-H2S presents a nice balance between stills and video functionality and performance. In a class-leading position in both areas, it benefits from its stacked sensor design, which provides quantifiable improvements in speed – for both image processing and autofocusing.
Fifth-gen X-Series system camera gets an ergonomic overhaul and rapid continuous shooting abilities
Have had the camera since August and the jury is still out. I've been using SLRs, then DSLRs and now mirrorless for 40 years and I do mostly bird/wildlife photography, hence the excitement over the H-2S. However I have never had such a high percentage of shots slightly out of focus.
I've been a Fuji user for quite some time. Started with the XT2 (which I loved), jumped to the XT4 (which I didn't enjoy) and now the X-H2s. I bought the X-H2s mainly because I really disliked my XT4.
I’ve had the camera since launch, and I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to adapt to the control changes (Previously I only used X-T Bodies). Another thing, I find the X-T bodies a lot of fun to shoot with and I wasn’t sure I would find this quite as fun… So, I definitely had some...
