Good cooktop with a design flaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded to this 5 burner cooktop through our builder. It cooks and functions as expected. There is, however, a HUGE design flaw. The most powerful burner is the front right burner that is located right to the control! What this means in practice is that we often burn ourselves turning off that burner. There needs to be more separation from the control knob or switch the front and back control knobs not to control the burner located so close. As mentioned in a couple of reviews, you'd be hard pressed to actually have 5 pots on this cooktop at the same time but that's due to the compact size.

Well made,easy to use unit. Excellent value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a Frigidaire Professional Cooktop unit about 2 months ago and are very satisfied with the unit. The burner layout, burner capacity and control configuration are well designed and easy to use and it heats and cooks as desired.
The problem with this unit so far is that the stainless steel base stains and discolors quickly with use, It is very hard to clean and remove the stains. This should be addressed for the unit to get a 10 out of 10.

Great Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Frigidaire cooktop to replace an older cooktop that was in the home when we bought it and that we were really unhappy with. The Frigidaire cooktop is so much better and we are really happy with it, especially the center burner. The new unit fit nicely into the granite cutout for the old cooktop and the new unit looks good in the kitchen. The controls are very easy to use and allows us to adjust the flame to just the amount of flame we want. We look forward to many years of great service from our new cooktop.

Great Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop has a beautiful look. The power burner is excellent for wok cooking. The install was difficult as the brackets supplied do not fit in a standard sized cabinet. The Frigidaire service does not have an alternative installation method. They did send out a repair technician to try to secure the cooktop, but the installer could not figure it out. I was forced to solve the problem myself. If Frigidaire had an alternate install method for standard sized cabinets, I would have given this 5 stars.

Control, stability, and strength!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently converted from an electric cooktop to this unit because the ceramic glass top cracked under the weight of my 20 gallon brew kettle, The clever 5 burner arrangement is very flexible for anything from small to huge cooking projects. The cast iron grates with this unit are incredibly strong and the ability to quickly heat and hold a stable 154 degree F mashing temperature easily was an unexpected and welcome bonus! Cooking on gas is a pleasure, and this cooktop does it extraordinarily well.

Great Product and Lots of Room for a 30"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In use for 9 months. Is been a great cooktop and love the amount of cooking area for a 30". Only complaint is that little rubber feet on the bottom of the 3 grilles (4 each) can fall off. If you don't notice and put the grills back on with a missing rubber foot, the grill will scratch the stainless. Frigidaire should include extra feet with the grilles, or improve the design.

Middle Burner Failing just 2 years old
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Middle Burner won't light on it's own and then when we do get it lit, part of the burner is not lit, resulting in an inconsistent flame. If it were any of the other burners, it would be manageable, but it's Christmas and we are trying to make a big pot of potatoes and the other burners just aren't big enough to sufficiently heat the pot efficiently. Disappointed as we bought all matching Frigidaire appliances and now this one is not working as it should after 2 years of light use. Disappointing as we paid a premium of our Frigidaire appliances.

Simplicity at it's best!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved to a new home a month ago and had this stovetop along with the other Frigidaire Professional Series appliances and just love it. When I bought it (online) I hadn't seen it and was apprehensive about the stainless steel top. But I love it...clean up is so easy and the burners are just one component rather than 2 on my other Fridgidaire stove...which makes the gas come out so evenly and again the cleanup so easy. I like that the knobs are metal rather than plastic!
