Unit is great; app, not so much
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The AirCon is great. One of the quieter units on the market. It looks, runs, and cools great. The WiFi light works double duty and it would be nice to have a dedicated power light.
The app needs a lot of work. When it works, it is excellent. Any changes (add a unit, app update, name change, etc.) messes it up requiring you to delete and reload the app. The instructions for adding a second unit are non-existent. Even with this hassle, it is a great unit and I would recommend it. If the app developers and tech writers can get their act together, this would be a really fantastic unit.

Nice, but poor thermostat design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 8000 BTU unit is nice, with nice features. I like being able to control it from my phone. My only problem with it is that the temperature sensing element is attached right to the cooling coils, between the air filter and the coils. The idea is to sense the incoming air temperature, which supposedly represents room temperature. The problem is that because the temperature sensing element is attached to the cold coils, it reads 4 to 6 degrees colder than the actual room temperature, once the unit gets going. I learned to work around it by setting the temperature to the minimum (60 degrees F) when I need to cool the room a lot. That still isn't perfect, but I can live with it. Other than that, I like it. It is much quieter than my old unit.

Cool a/c units
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for an older a/c unit. It is a little lighter and a little smaller which is a big deal. It was easier to put in the window and easier to carry. The wifi feature is huge. We purchased two of these for an AirBnB that is 25 minutes from our house. It was great to be able to pre-cool rooms before our guests arrived and then shut them off after they left. Convenience and comfort and the wifi setup was very easy. It was also interesting to check in and see if they were running while guests were there.

Does the job!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My central ac system died and needed complete replacement after over 30 years of service. Of course, it quit during the hottest summer on record. I bought this window unit to keep the house cool until I can get the main system fixed... and I'm happy to say it's done a great job keeping things comfortable. I especially appreciate that this model can be controlled by either a remote or by the app on my phone. Plus, the price was super reasonable. Much more affordable than comparable units with smaller btu ratings.

Great window ac
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Wi-Fi option and air purification filter. Was running a separate air purifier but with this ac has option of buying filter and cools and filters the air at the same time! Perfect when out and in way back home turning it on. Very happy with my purchase. Bought 2 and have one in bedroom and living room. 8k btu covers a very large area and hallway I only use one at a time depending on which room I’m in and my apartment layout is odd kinda like a submarine with all rooms off of a hallway so one ac gets cold enough to enter hall and I also use a box fan and probably just needed 1 ac but glad to have 2. I’m on the top floor and have flat roof. Summers are unbearable in my place.

Good but not great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works, but even when you select the auto speed the AC NEVER turns off, if you set it to 65F and it’ll get to 65 but it will still be running. It’s very very loud. And to use with Alexa you have to create a routine very weird, because if you say “alexa then the AC on”. She says “AC is on a mode that doesn’t support that, change manually or use the app.” I had to create a crazy routine to actually work.
Anyway. I can’t return anymore. So it’s what it’s. But if you have a better option. Get other.

Window air conditioner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that I can turn on my air conditioner remotely from my office. It does not have to run all day so one or two hours before I’m coming home I can turn it on I can make sure it’s not on high or I can put it on low or I can put it on high I have all those options.
Then, when I return home, my place is fresh and cool, and I didn’t use Hydro all day and waste money and also use up the life of the machine. Very pleased with how quiet it is and how efficient it works!

Strong, easy to use,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Strong and easy to use - much better than my 6k BTU unit so far. I love that I can turn it on from anywhere or schedule to turn it on thru the wifi capabilities. A little bit of a rattle but not anything more than I expect from an AC. Cools things down so quickly and nice.
minus 1 star because it came cracked on the exterior and inner styrofoam. I hope it’s just cosmetic for now because did not want to waste on a replacement that could also potentially be cracked.
