Frigidaire Gallery Series 30 Inch Gas Sealed Burner Cooktop

I like the fact the cooktop heats very well and I usually use the lower settings on the knobs. The biggest negative is how heavy and large the grates are. The grates stand about two inches above the base, and are very heavy to lift off to clean the base. Two grates and each one is 18 pounds.

We bought this to replace a 15 year old cooktop, rather than repair it. My wife loves it. The center burner has a much larger BTU capability, so bringing large pots of water to boil is much quicker. The arrangement of the grates and burners makes it much easier to clean than the old one.

Really solid piece except the plastic knobs. Lots of even heat and well built.

This cooktop is very difficult to clean and has to be disassembled into many parts for cleaning. The grates are also difficult to clean. The larger burner over cooks everything except frying. The simmer burner does not simmer low enough. Everything boils over. The 2 medium burners are worthless.

We (my wife & I) are very pleased with this cooktop.

  Compact but with great features like the large burner, a small burner & two medium burners. Easy to clean, electronic ignition works well. Complete with propane conversion kit and half the price of building supply houses.

  For an RV application, loose parts that rattle - need a cover / cutting top to prevent part movement and noise.

This review is for the Frigidaire Model FGGC3047QB. I say that because I am seeing a lot of reviews attached to the wrong product. This was bought to replace an old 1998 model GE cooktop. The old cutout was 19 1/2" by 28 1/2". This Frigidaire fit in easily.

Works fine. I would like to give 5 stars but one of the control knobs has a slight flaw in the paint. I've tried calling but end up on hold forever. Finally got a hold of someone. Told me model was so new he couldn't help me. He transferred me to another forever hold. Situation not resolved.

The burners give powerful burning and the cast iron greats helps for simpler stove move around for pots and pans. Very happy. Cooking feels more comfortable

A very nice design which looks great, it also has well regulated burners. Love the grill burner. And best of all its easy to clean!

Stove came just as pictured. I had to do the natural gas to propane (LPG) conversion and once I read the booklet that was provided it was easy. Took about 10 minutes (would be less for someone who has done it before). Stove works great, no issues so far.
