The Fitbit Versa 2 takes everything we like about the original smartwatch and adds an always-on AMOLED display, a microphone for Amazon Alexa, and Fitbit Pay.

  • +

Attractive AMOLED screen with always-on option. Long battery life. Lots of useful apps and fitness features. Fitbit Pay. Amazon Alexa.

  • -

Screen isn't quite as bright as the original model. Alexa responses are text only.

With an OLED display, on-board Alexa, and amazing battery life, the Fitbit Versa 2 is ready to take on all comers—including the Apple Watch.

  • +

Nice design with an excellent display, Amazon Alexa and Spotify controls are nice addition, Amazing battery life

  • -

No on-board GPS, Alexa has no wake word and limited functionality

I always understood why Fitbit made the $159 Versa Lite—it wanted to capitalize on the popularity of the Versa and give new users an even more affordable option that slashed all unnecessary features.

  • +

Solid, water-resistant design., Faster performance., New AMOLED display with always-on mode., Convenient quick-access menu for toggle settings, Fitbit Pay, and more., NFC for Fitbit Pay is now a standard feature., New voice replies for Android users., Good battery life.

  • -

Cannot download Spotify playlists., No completely hands-free way to summon Alexa., Still no use of the SpO2 sensor., Switching watch faces is a painfully slow and convoluted process., No integration with Apple Health or Google Fit.

Fitbit’s name has been synonymous with fitness trackers since its inception. But for the past few years, the company has also been branching into the smartwatch world to compete with the likes of the Apple Watch and Samsung’s wearable lineups.

  • +

Comfortable, lightweight design, Week-long battery life, Screen is bright and easy to see outdoors, Great fitness and sleep-tracking features, Voice replies are handy for Android users

  • -

Changing straps is still a huge chore, despite the quick-release pins, Always-on display is too simple and not customizable enough, Alexa integration is clumsy and largely pointless, Smartwatch productivity features are lacking

The Fitbit Versa, see our full review , was a huge hit for Fitbit last year, but the landscape has changed a bit in 2019 with the Apple Watch Series 3 down to $199 and Garmin's Forerunner 45S at the same price.

  • +

Gorgeous high quality design, Always-on display option, Bright and clear new AMOLED display, Lightweight and comfortable for 24/7 wear, Detailed sleep and heart rate data

  • -

No support for offline Spotify music, No integration with Apple Health or Google Fit, Bands can be tough to replace

I wore the Fitbit Versa 2 for more than a week and I enjoyed it. The Versa 2 is no doubt an improvement over the original Versa, especially on the display and battery front. All that said, it would be hard to recommend the Versa 2 to an iPhone user, given the Apple Watch Series 3 is selling for Rs...

Alexa is the star of the show here, but it’s the small improvements in the design and software that really make the Versa 2 feel like a leap ahead. There are bugs that need fixing, particularly with Alexa, and some people will simply want something more stylish.

  • +

Rounder, curved design, Alexa’s handy (when it works), Fitbit Pay on all models

  • +

Lightweight, comfortable design, AMOLED and always-on-display, Microphone for Alexa and text replies, Fitbit Pay included by default, Outstanding 5+ days of battery life

I love this watch! You can easily see the time as well as stats. Tracks your steps, reminds you to move and celebrates when you reach your goals! Working as a nurse this is a great watch to have because it's easy to clean, waterproof, easy to see the time even in the dark (#nightshiftnurse) also you...

Really nice fun watch. Ive been a fitbit user since 2013. Ive seen some really negative reviews on this watch and honestly I have no idea what these people are talking about. I will admit I have never and will never submerge this watch. Love this!

I bought this Fitbit to help with health issues. I was skeptical at first but after just having this for a week i was sold. This helped me with all of data my doctor said I need to keep track of. Would recommend this. Way better the the regular Fitbit.

I purchased this Fitbit to make sure I get all my texts and notifications while in meetings so I keep my phone on silent at all times. I stopped getting text notifications after 3 days. I calledsupport and they told me there is a glitch and there is nothing they can do.

This is my third type of Fitbit. Started with the first edition of the Charge, the upgraded to the Blaze, and now I have the Versa 2. So far this is the BEST out of the bunch. It has a normal type watch strap, and a much longer battery life. Screen is a bit bigger I think than the Blaze.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and so far I love it. I wanted a smart watch but also wanted the benefits of a fitness watch. This does both. Works well getting notifications and I find the sleep tracker interesting. I recently went for a few runs with friends who had other smart watches.

I purchased this about a month ago to replace my charge 2. I was worried about the larger size of the versa that it might be awkward or bulky. The versa is so much lighter than the charge 2 that it’s not awkward at all. The charger is so much easier also. I just love it.

I had to replace my Fitbit Charge 2 and thought it would be great to upgrade. So I purchased theFitbit Versa 2. I like it a lot but I really don't care for the fact that you cannot make the font any bigger on messages or emails.

Good Looking WatchIt is hard to maneuver around. If you swipe you get what you are not looking for. Battery Life is ok. But...I noticed that if I stand completley still and just move my arm, it counts steps! I mean I dont even walk or step! I move my arm and it tracks at least 12-15 steps.
