The Best Dishwasher System Ever!
We recently purchased this Fisher Paykel model dishwasher for our vacation home in Florida. We have had a similar model in our primary residence in California for over 15 years. This is the best dishwasher, especially if you have a small family. You can wash small loads in one washer or large loads using both washers. Another advantage is that you do not have to empty the washer when dishes have been washed. Just use the washed dishes as needed and place the dirty dishes in the alternate washer until full. Then reverse the process using the clean dishes in the alternate washer. This saves time and it also saves space in your kitchen cabinets.

LongTime F&P Owner Disappointed
Have owned 2 previous Fisher&Paykel Double DishDrawers in the past 25 years. Have loved those models. When we needed a new D/W this year we looked at another big brand, as we have one at our second home, and the F&P. Although I liked the look of the other big brand we went with the F&P as we really like the double drawer(no dirty dishes in the sink!). We thought it would have the same loading set up. After install I tried loading mugs and small glasses in the 2 side "shelves" and found that there was not enough top space....Very disappointed!!! Also, the dish set up is also different from previous models and not in a good way. If I had to do it over, I would buy the other big brand.

Good but…
It’s been appx. a year since I started using the dishwasher. I love the design and functionality of the washer. Having two drawers make it seem as though I have two separate dishwashers. I host lots of gatherings and this washer has been of great help. However recently the machine stopped working and so I had to arrange repair. The problem is electrical— has to do with computerized buttons, not the mechanical element of the washer. The service has been good but the process isn’t finished. I am waiting for the part to come and exchanged.

Some thing good and some not.
This is a quite nice dishwasher. Slim look, modern and clean. Less water spill out to floor and very quiet. Good for a small family for daily use. But there are some disadvantage compare to regular dishwasher. Capacity: since divide to 2 draws, the space is very limited. I would say it is 1/3 less than the regular one. Detergent: It's friendly to liquid detergent with 2 holders. Not friendly to package detergent with no specific place to put. Cleanness: liquid detergent is less clean than package detergent. So once I need to wash grease dishes, I will use package detergent and try to position it properly. Divider and sections: not friendly for position bowls, plates are OK.
So this product is not for every family especially large size and roughly daily use.

10 yr replaced with the same one
Easy controls, quiet, some changes from previous version. The ‘shelves’ on the side do not go up and down like the last version to adjust for tall glasses while still being able to use the shelf (pic). Some water still remains on the surfaces after the wash but the dishes are dry (pic). The tines(?) to stand up plates are different heights which would make a full set of plates bang a bit if you had a full serving to put in their (pic). Our last one had issues after 10 yr; not empty, top drawer dripping.

We have well water and we have tried 3 different brand of regular dishwashers when I decided to google "2 drawer" dishwashers. I have never paid for a dishwasher this kind of price but I was sick and tired of rewashing dishes since we moved to this country house 5 years ago. I completely love this double drawer machine! I started using the pods because I had a lot still left but decided to purchase a cleaner powder detergent. The dishwasher is a bit loud, you know it's on, you know when it's draining the water but I have had it for almost 3 months and dishes come clean every single wash. The best feature is the 2 drawers. You don't have to wait to fill up both racks to feel you are not wasting water, detergent! It also washes pretty quick. I highly recommend to invest on one of these!

Doesn't work well
I'm so confused about this dishwasher. While I love having the two drawers, one of them doesn't clean the dishes well, and the other one is only a bit better. It seems that I can only load a few items for them to be cleaned at all, and even then I still find oily residue on the plastic items. Sometimes there is gritty or powdery residue on the ceramics. I follow the instructions on loading and detergent. I really wish I could talk with someone about how to get better results.
