Purchased it used at Guitar Center with a Korean Hamer Archtop as a trade. First off, it has incredible flexibility with the four pickups. It has the usual two Tele pickups (lipstic at the neck and the bridge pickup), but then it sandwhiches a tex mex Strat pickup in the middle.

If you're on the hunt for a more versatile tele that doesn't break the bank, this is a model worth checking out. It's a solid player's guitar, and they go for a nice price in the used market. You'll want to replace the pickups, but that's not a huge deal.

When I tried this tele out i was so delighted that I put my search for a '52 tele. on the back burner. Terrific guitar to play and it loks very very nice in the sunburst brown [ read more on Audiofanzine ]

Very universal instrument. Great workmanship,Sounds excellent,Very different setup from a regular Telecaster but, usable tones and, plays nicely. Even thought this Telecaster is made in Mexico is...
