I can't find ONE thing wrong with this axe. Usually I can find some piddly/diddly fault but cannot do it this time. I just LOVE this guitar!! Well,Fender really surprised me this time! I am almost speechless ! I said ALMOST!!The guitar was actually in tune right out of the box.I kid you not.

Well, I was looking to get back into playing after a 7 year hiatus. Back when I was playing in a weekend covers band I had an '88 Jap' Strat; (lifeless, sterile, thin, these words come to mind), and a '91 Strat Ultra; (very, very playable).
I absolutely love this guitar. The vintage neck dimensions make it a unique playing experience and the distinct, sharp-edged definition of the Strat tones make it an exciting instrument to explore.

Obviously everyone who has ever played an electric guitar should experience a Strat at some point in life. Whether looking for your first, replacing a loved guitar now past for whatever reason, or simply adding to the collection; try one.
It is simple to play, doesn't require too much power in your fingers. Fingers easily slide and the sound is always perfect. I haven't played it for a couple of years and (properly stored) it wasn't even terribly out of intonation.

Not as 'sexy' as Les Pauls. Components perhaps a bit sub-par.
The Fender Stratocaster is a great guitar no matter what style you like to play, it can play nearly any style imaginable. The sound quality out of any Fender Stratocaster is amazing, it can be soft and sweet or it can be hard and heavy, also the fact it is made in america means that the quality of...

In my opinion this is, for your moneys worth, the best Stratocaster under £1000. It is suitable for beginners to professionals. It is very reliable for example, the guitar rarely goes out of tune and it feels sturdy and well constructed (which is why Fender have such a good reputation.
