As you may have guessed from our reviews of the SC204 and the SC307, we have a thing for Eve monitors. Being a two way design, the SC207 sits neatly in the middle and comes with a 6.5-inch bass driver and the excellent Eve ribbon tweeter.
These are not only revealing, highly analytical speakers in nearfield use, but their sound is well integrated and the imaging is very precise. Musical as well, though, to my ears, there is some stridency near the top end. The EVEs came out on top in a side-by-side shootout with the usual suspects.
