Electrolux's first condenser dryer is affordable and attractive, but has its drawbacks.

Clothes don't smell as fresh as from old dryer. Blows out the hot air inside building, so heats up surrounding room, which will be problem in summer.

We bought this dryer in July for our cabin in Maine. It was the best option for us because the dryer does not need to be vented to the outside. Most days the clothes are dry before the cycle has ended.

Low quality, did not dry clothes after three cycles

Bought this unit for 22nd floor. Great for inside closet without renovating door

Washer was defective, waited 2 weeks to be replaced. Dryer timer can not be set, even when you have to dry a little load, you must dry for an hour and 44 minutes.

I've had this dryer for one year and have had a service tech out because I don't think it dries we'll. He couldn't find anything wrong with it and reviewed the drying options. I've used the drying options he showed me and it still takes hours to dry three pair of jeans.

Bought the dryer expecting a machine quiet enough for the kitchen. However, after 30mins of drying, a fan kicks in that produces a high pitched noise, loud enough to make the stay in the kitchen unpleasant.4 service techs later, we have been given confirmation that this noise is normal.

I searched high and low to find a good compact washer/dryer set and was so happy I invested in this one. The reviews were excellent. It has many selections to choose from. Fits perfectly in my condo laundry room
