  The $1,199 Electrolux EFLS527UTT is a fantastic front-load washer. It removes stains better than nearly every other model we've tested. Its gray finish looks cool, too, and it has plenty of features -- including a dedicated dispenser for detergent pods.

  $1,199 isn't cheap, and its 4.3-cubic-foot capacity is slightly less than the 4.5-cubic-foot average.

Have now had this about a month. The fact I could change which side the door opened to and the dryer with it was stackable were two of my buying points. Having used it we really like that it is predictable in its timing, the controls are easy to use and it is quiet. Great buy

It's a nice machine, clean and quiet. Energy and water saving as well. But it took me a while to figure out how to reverse the door. Yes, there are instructions in the manual. But it would be nice to have a video. I did find someone on youtube giving the tutorial on an older model.

The only reason for not giving five stars, is that you can't run the steam cycle without a full wash cycle with water. I would have preferred a steam-only option for items that should not be submerged.

I've had this washer for just over a month and am very satisfied with it. Although it was a bit smaller than my last washer, the directions say that it can be filled to the top (not packed!). Clothes come out with very little moisture - it's very efficient at extracting excess water.

After three months of use I can't say enough good things about this washer and dryer. Both have tons of features that make my washing experience an absolute joy. The capacity is so large it can hold very large amounts of washables.

This is an upgrade from the last model we had and I love it! Love the gorgeous color and all of the features! Appreciate the digital display on the dial as I can see it from far away and in any light. Great clean for clothes like I expect from Electrolux!

I can't say enough about this Electrolux washer. The chime alerting me that a wash cycle is done can be heard even if I'm on the second floor and the front loader makes it a breeze to transfer loads into the matching dryer. It's little touches like these that make it hard -not- to recommend.

We have had this washer for a month now, and it has been fantastic. We love your flexibility. Also, switching the door to the other side was easy, and it has made our life so much better being able to just transfer clothing. I highly recommend this product.

After having my previous washer break in less than three years, finding this Electrolux washer has been amazing. It's quieter than my previous one. My clothes come out perfect and not super soapy. I also love the pods setting and that my king size comforter fits.
