Great range top with tons of heating power.High quality construction and materials, the included flat-top insert is great and ads to the flexibility of the range top. Lighters are a little bit tricky and sometimes you need to light a couple of times for the burner to stay on.
I agree with another reviewer in that at the very back of the 6 burner gas cooktop where the vent is, is completely unreachable for cleaning. After only 3 lousy months, there is a bunch of krud back there with no access to wipe the mess up except maybe with long handled Q-Tips and a whole lot of...
As others have stated, I have a similar issue with the front stainless - just below the grates discoloring (turning brown/yellow) with heat. This looks terrible and is extremely disappointing.
Ok so we upgraded to this cooktop when building our house. I have used it for a month. Getting it to light up is a tall task. It’s extremely finicky. I usually get it to light after 3-4 tries. I have used gas cooktops my entire life. I have never had a more finicky starter system.
I chose this range top because of the reputation of reliability with Electrolux products. It is a beautiful rangetop that looks great in my new kitchen. Plus, I Iove that it came with a griddle. I purchased new Rachel Ray pots to use with my new rangetop.
