Excellent cooktop. Works great as a grill/griddle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were thinking about replacing our cooktop for sometime now, but our previous cooktop was working loyally for more than 10 years. We initially thought that cooktop hasn't changed. But we are very glad that we finally decided to get this cooktop.
We have been using this cooktop for almost a month and love everything that it has to offer. It has 5 burners and placement is excellent to allow us to use them at the same time. In addition, it came with grill plate that is prefect for cooking burgers, fajitas and also Tandoori Roti. It has the same size 4 burners we had in most 4 burner cooktop and have additional bigger burner for huge pots.
Designers for this cooktop have given good attention to minor things and that makes a big difference. For example, there is a hidden light in burner knobs that turn on to indicate burner is in use. Its very bright and in front. Makes it very easy for us to notice if we left the stove on by mistake.
Overall both my wife & I love this cooktop and we will not be looking for anyone other than Electrolux for our appliance needs.

Just the quality I wanted
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I researched cooktops and chose this one and I’m so glad it has lived up to my expectations. The middle high intensity burner allowed me to cook my stirfry in a fraction of the time that I used to, with my other gas, stoves that I’ve had in the past. I also love the ergonomic tilt on the knobs, as well as the back lighting on them and the finish is also is easy to clean. Finally, I wanted a stove that I could light in the event of a power failure and I’m happy to say that I can confirm this can be done with this cooktop.

Very nice product
It was all I had expected and I love it. I have used it for about 8 months now so I feel that I can review this product with confidence. It was easy to install, cleans easily, has powerful burners that cook very evenly, and I appreciate the backlighting and the angle on the burner knobs. I would buy this again.

Amazing cooktop!

Finding a large area 5 burner unit in a 30 inch is near impossible. Electrolux nailed it. I would highly recommend this unit or any Electrolux cooktop to anyone who loves to cook, it rivals the commercial ones I worked with as a Sous Chef in college. Just a beautiful piece of equipment!

Perfect Fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a cooktop that could fit into a 27.5" cutout in our granite countertop. It's an uncommon size, but thankfully Electrolux makes this model. It fits perfectly and we absolutely love it. The look is gorgeous, the quality is excellent, and burners allow for multiple pots and pans to be fired up at once.
Customer service was outstanding and shipping was much faster than expected.
We are completely satisfied with our new Electrolux cooktop and would highly recommend this product to others.

Grate finish rough, stainless easily scratches.
The stainless immediately scratched; doesn’t take much. The grates are part of the problem: if anything but the feet touches a surface, scratches occur. Also the griddle handles stick out so it’s incompatible with a downdraft fan. Lastly, so many small gaps in the knob design that trap grease and crumbs. I would not buy again.
