This is an excellent card at a reasonable price. It has amazing performance and very quiet fan noise. It's also not that big - fits in most cases and only takes up 2 slots. I recommend buying it if you are upgrading from a GTX 9xx series or lower.
Been buying EVGA cards since I had a GTX 670 FTW and Ive never had issues. Fast forward to today and I decided to go all in for this card with EVGA and I did enjoy seeing BF5 in 4k and all its glory. Too bad that lasted 8 days, and it wasnt even running too hot.
Took a couple of weeks to receive all parts to build new PC. After finally trying to game, hear audible coil whine from GPU without needing to get close to PC next to desk.. will give it more time in stress tests to see if it goes away or lessens in noise before returning as per EVGAs advice.
I was looking for a graphics card that would look good and perform well. I am pleased with this card. It runs cool (never hits 80 C), I get good smooth video playback and gaming experience at 1080p. If I can Ill try to update this review when I get my first 4k monitor later this week.
I have yet to really push the card so will update review when I have the chance to get some play time with it. It does idle cool around 32c so that is great.
