The F-6 fits the classic Domke mold of spacious soft canvas bags that hold a lot of gear. I am using this for a mirrorless system and it can hold a Sony A6500 with an attached lens and four additional lenses with hoods attached as well as compartments to hold batteries, memory cards, extension...
Great fit for my Nikon D7100 or my Nikon D600 with two lens of medium size like my 24-70 and my 11-16 or both cameras and two small primes in the 50mm range,a real tuff bag,I highly recommend !
For years I carried the the big old Domke bags, going back to the days when I shot three Nikon F's and carried a bag full of what we now call prime lenses. Now, I'm retired and I've given my DSLR's to my stepson and have bought two micro four thirds bodies, four primes and three zooms.
This is not an equipment transport bag. Its strength lies in its ability to be use when compactness and flexibility are required. If you want to carry your entire camera inventory this is not your bag(although another Domke bag might fit that role).
I saw a review of this bag and it sounded exactly like what I've been looking for. Small, good for day trips, travel and walking around the cottage. Was a little worried it might be too small. Worry gone. It holds a ton!
This is a great little bag for carrying one DSLR camera with up to five prime lenses or one or two small rangefinder cameras with up to six prime lenses. It doesn't scream 'camera bag' the way some do, it's very comfortable to carry around and the lens compartment can be moved within the bag.
By today's standards, this is what I'd call a minimalist bag, and that's exactly why I bought it. I needed something simple for travel, that I could fit into my also minimal main luggage bag.
great addition to my beloved domke F2. when i don't need/want to carry around the bigger brother, the F6 will do! love that new ruggedwear look and feel.
Does the job if you can get by with a small volume. Of course you can compute the interior volume easy enough give the interior dimensions, which are available in the description. When I need a new shoulder bag, I keep drifting back to Domke. Likely they will outlast me.
For an everyday on the go, street, zoo, day at the park bag it's second to none. It conforms to your body movement and the rubberized strips keep it secure. It holds my mid sized DSLR with super zoom, a 35mm f1.4 prime , a wide angle zoom and sb-700 flash with a "hole" left over for lens hoods,...
