Excellent receiver, plenty of power, easy setup, can accommodate any speaker configuration.
Plenty of power, easy to setup, multiple connection options.
Unit does get hot, using AC infinity unit to cool receiver when on.
My TV is in a horribly bad room acoustically. Its size required using flat panel speakers close to the listeners, not the best for sound. Denon's sound correction is amazing. Makes this poor setup sound good.
Set up very easy and sounds great. My only complaint is that the remote is not backlit.
Lots of power and features, easy to set up and use.
Amazing sound and very easy to set up.
I just upgraded from a mid-level 4yr old Onkyo AVR that I was using as a PreAmp- which was then powered by a 200w 5-way amplifier. I was concerned that this would not have the power to drive my B&W 702 S2 fronts and matching center of my 5.1.2 setup, but I am pleasantly surprised!
everything sounds great, nice set up
maybe it's not the cheapest?
This is my first Denon AVR and I am finding out that I have been missing out for 30 years.... I always had Onkyo and Yamaha and the other two AVRs and never knew how much Denon sounds better.. its a WOW.. and the power is Awsome.. and the Denon has way more features for the money..
POWER /OPTIONS/CLARITY/AND WATCHING MY FRIENDS FACES WHEN I TURN IT ON...
It gets hot, but I use the Aircom 9 and it works great.......
My Yamaha A3050 no longer supported the latest video standards and couldn't keep up with my new projector, so I needed an upgrade. I've always felt that my system had a little more to give (7.3.4 configuration with B&W 7 series towers and in-ceiling with 2 SVS PB16s + JL Audio F113), and this Denon...
Immersive soundRich sound stageExcellent room correction
Could use a little more power at very high listening levels with all channels driven
The DENON AVR-X6500H was purchased to replace our (7.1 ch.) Denon AVR 3808CI. The functionality of this newer unit is on par with Denon's flagship AVR-X8500H, yet $1,600.00 less. We're still running a 5.1 ch.
It runs warm, so proper ventilation is a must.
Excellent 11 channel, great price
