Denon AVR-X1600H 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver

I like to push buttons, switch every single setting, several times until I feel I understand the unit well. Typically with almost any electronics device you get these days you end up having to call someone you know thats good with these things or call the technical support. Not on this receiver.

The AVR-X1600H was to replace, and to be an update to, my Denon AVR-X4000, which I loved before lightning recently took it out. As a point of reference, my go-to receiver had been a B&K 507, but the company sold out and stopped customer support.

Had to replace my old faithful 9 year old Denon receiver when I up graded to an LG OLED TV that had all the newest technology. I’m very impressed with how this AVR has brought my entertainment system together.

This receiver was easy to set up and sounds great! The on screen setup app was easy to follow and I had no issues getting everything to work. I am using the pre-amp out to a multi-zone amp for whole house sound, and it too was easy to set up and make everything work.

You will catch really the sound of your preference, it will be the core of your Audio Video world

Purchased after a soundbar and this is incredible. Hands down a reciever is the way to go

After reading tons of reviews I decided to upgrade my Sony DH590. I saw price for a refub and jumped on it after reading of people with positive experiences. Unfortunately, the one I got was a dud. I plugged it into multiple wall sockets that worked and the thing wouldn't even power on.

Easy to set up but not enough power to drive my Bose speaker as my 10 year old Denon amplifier, only one HDMI output so not able to connect Samsung center speaker

Great receiver! Especially for the money.HEOS app works well for streaming music sources. I'm really blown away by the HEOS setup. The app turn on the receiver and switch the source automatically. I use it for Tune-in radio and Tidal. Sound quality is very good.
