Denon is the best user friendly receiver. i have had 3 Denon receivers, then i tried the new Yahama RX 6A receiver and i did not like the interface at all. and it would not save my settings and the sound would take a few seconds to come on. My new Denon is right on par!
I have a Polk high end satellite/subwoofer surround speaker system that has superb sound but isn't easy to drive. I went through a Sony, 2 Yamaha, and an Onkyo receiver, none of which lasted much longer than a year before I bought the S960H in August of 2017.
Just bought a New Samsung 900 T and a Denon AVRS960H-R Hooked up new 2.1 HDMI cables.Everything performed like details explained with my old JBL 7.1 speakers After following directions I'm enjoying a new level of entertainment. and yes there is 8K available on You-Tube. We are ready for the future.

I'm very satisfied with my denon s960h.. she serves her purpose with my 5.2.2 dolby atmos set up this receiver performs well.. the only reason I gave it 4 stars is at low volumes between 25-38 it is very hard to hear. Plus there are no pre-outs but at this time I don't need them.
Expectation was like 6 -8 weeks delivery, showed up the following week!
