If you’re after a no-nonsense desktop PC that has just enough grunt to tackle most of the games you’ll want to play this holiday season and just enough upgradability to be viable over the long term, the Dell Inspiron 5675 Gaming Desktop is absolutely worth consideration.
Design is a little flat
Dell made a gaming PC that isn't an Alienware, and that isn't horrendously expensive.
This Inspiron gaming PC has a solid mid-range CPU and GPU combo. Although performance and price are alluring, there are better gaming PCs than this.
Ports upon ports, Eye-catching design
Base-level RAM is 8GB, Hard drive instead of SSD
As a matter of fact, we can’t think of another gaming mid-tower we’d take over this Dell at its price point. Overall, the Inspiron 5675 does a commendable job of mixing value, quality, and features into a mid-tower that won’t break the bank. Just opt for that SSD boot drive if at all possible.
Clean look, Runs cool and quiet, Good expansion capability, Solid port selection
Slow hard drive, as equipped in our test model, CTO models don’t offer RAM upgrades
The Dell Inspiron 5675 is a solid performer with a few drawbacks, but its low price and solid gaming performance make it a good choice, especially if you’re looking to step into the world of PC gaming for the first time. There are a fair number of options available to you at less than $1,000.
Low price, Ryzen brings solid multi-core performance, Attractive exterior, Easily handles games at 1080p
Awkward internal design, Not very futureproof
i bought the ryzen 3 1200 model and got the ryzen 5 1400 cpu in mine now my brother wants one
It's a computer, it worked. After some extensive windows 10 updates, video driver issues saying it wouldn't recognize the card it came with..well after the OS had updated. Fixed that issue when I updated the video driver, which made me wonder why the card after one windows 10 update started reading...
Everything is great! I don't like the business look on top. But aside from that the rx 570 paired with the R5 1400 works easily 300-500% better than my old rig. It does video editing seamlessly, which is usually more of a work load than gaming, so if you're interested in gaming this will do.
seems to work well didnt like the large windows update i had to do owell. pc works good
A little overpriced but with parts as high as they are it's a good deal. Works perfectly fine for modern gaming.
I expected some problems with this PC for the price. But there's no problems at all so far. Every game I've thrown at it has performed at about 50-60 fps very high settings. Pros: Very pretty. The pictures don't do the blue light justice, it's really nice. Will probably keep this case for awhile.
A really nice quality build from Dell. 1. What's in the box?: Well, the computer. Given this is a build form Dell and not a custom build, the compromise is with certain aspects. Internals are quite good for the price point. Inspiron chip is fine. Graphics card is actually quite good. Case?
I got it but it has a little crash on the top case.
As ridiculous as this may seem, this loses nearly all of its poitns because of the fans. Not exactly the fans themselves but it's treatment of what a fan should do. The BIOS is locked down and provides no controls over the fan speed.
I bought this computer with low-expectations because it was a Dell (I usually built my own systems back when I was a teen/young 20s... but i said "maybe they changed" and bought it either way. Immediately, the sound didn't work.
