This is a replacement machine for an older more advanced machine, that has begun to flip GFCI due to over heating. Unfortunately could not afford to stay at the same level of machine. Few observations, took probably a half pound of beans to dial this machine in.
It looks intimidating but is not- it is actually very easy to use and keep clean. It gives the option to practice your barista skills or just go in autopilot. The tamper is easy to use-some coffee grounds do fall down in the tray but they can be easily vacuumed out or just dump when cleaning the...
It's drinking your best coffee at home, easy and just the right cup of coffee every time and every kind
When this unit works it seems to work well, but machines which incorporate too many functions are at much greater risk for failure. Other models which lack the built in grinder/doser feature are not only likely to be more reliable, but if there is a failure in one component such as the grinder, you...
Awesome machine! Some buyers mention problems with the grinder, but we've had no issues and we run this thing quite a bit.Watch the walkthrough video on YouTube, works exactly as displayed. Worth the upgrade if you're looking to replace. Might be a lot of machine for new enthusiasts.
The only reason that I gave it only 4 stars is the lack of a good user manual. The machine is quite sophisticated and many items are not obvious and not mentioned (even if after you download the user manual off the internet).
I bought this over two years ago. I was so excited about buying my first espresso machine. But it was a disappointment from the very first cup. Over two years, and countless attempts to tinker with any variables I can think of, and I’ve had to admit defeat. I’m buying a moccamaster instead.
Bought 3 of them and took them all back! If you want cappuccino, this is NOT the machine for you! Don't believe the hype, it does NOT froth the milk well, and since I'm a CAPPUCCINO lover I was disappointed. If you want an outstanding machine, get the De'Longhi ELETTA EXPLORE. All automatic.
Great to look at but doesn't work. Couldn't get the milk steamer/frother to work. Contacted DeLongi customer support they're sending a replacement milk container lid, but I think they miss diagnosed the problem, because the steam wand also doesn't work. I'll know for sure when the part arrives.
I am a coffee snob. I’ve spent so much money on drinks, just to be disappointed because they aren’t made correctly. I did some research and decided to give this machine a try. The Delonghi brand was actually recommended to me by a professional barista!
