If you're willing to take your home espresso game up a few rungs then the De'Longhi Dedica is worth the money, but you'll have to spend a lot more for this chance to pull shots like a pro.
Compact and attractive, the De'Longhi Dedica reliably and automatically pulls tasty espresso shots. The coffee maker also steams milk for cafe drinks and has a handy cup warmer.
The De'Longhi Dedica costs a lot more than budget home espresso machines yet gets clogged by extra-fine coffee grounds and can't brew light roasts as well as premium products.
Very easy to use expresson maker. I also viewed the uTube demonstration and this helped me to figure out best way to use along with reading the manual. The frother is very easy to use --- made our first cortadito (a small cappucino) Cuban style and it was delicious. We used Bustelo expresso.
it's been perfect for me. I only drink espresso so do not need any extras - and I won't use the 'disposable' cups (and don't have to for this). it makes the most delicious espresso (can customize the heat and volume). it is perfect in its simplicity and elegance. hoping it lasts forever.
This machine is easy to operate, it takes some experimentation to find the right grind and you need a good conical grinder with a setpoint to consistently get a good fine grind because there is no built in grinder but then you have a good espresso or a good cappucino.
We are new to making lattes at home, and this machine is just perfect. It is slim, doesn’t take up a ton of counter space, looks modern, and is SO easy to use.I like that the water reservoir comes completely out so you aren’t spilling water everywhere while trying to fill the back of the machine.
this is worth all the money, ive had it for a few months and it makes an great cup of coffee! its my first expresso machine im very happy i went with this model ita so compact for my countertop and a great quality
The counter space in my kitchen always has a premium price. We had a much larger and fancier machine but it just took up too much room. This De'Longhi EC885M Dedica Arte Espresso Machine is easy to use and takes up very little room. It is still just as beautiful as some of the other, larger, models.
I do love this espresso maker. It's very easy to use and it makes great coffee. My only complaints is that it doesn't make two coffees very easily (you just have to wait for it to warm up again after the first coffee) and the steamer is a little finicky, it also seems to need to recover after one...
It seemed very temperamental. Sometimes it worked just fine, and then the next time (using the same bag of espresso) it would jam and the water wouldnt come through, and it would blink and shut off.
Almost as shown. I already have a great tamper from my last Delonghi use. So, I gave the tamper to a friend. Better than nothing. But I got it on sale. If I paid full price I would have complained. No professional tamper. But I've had nearly a month and it's been fantastic.
The steam function rarely works on the first try. You can get it to work by flipping back and forth between the coffee and steam settings before the steam control actually turns the steam pump on. It's really good when it works. I just wish it worked more predictably.
