I got these for my 7 year old son who wants to start learning drums. He hasn't seen them yet but I'm sure he'll like the way they look. At first I was concerned they were too small and would appear as a toy and not "real" drums, but that fear lessoned after finishing assembly.

We bought this for a gift for my 9 yr old son, who loves it. It was pretty easy to assemble and sounds good. But it came with these little tiny drumsticks that my infant would probably like! So overall very nice.

Of all the "jr" sized drum sets that we have looked at the ddrum D1 set is absolutely perfect for our 4 yr old son. He graduated up from a more toy like 3 pc set, so we didn't want to get another set that would not sound that great and not hold up to actual drum playing...

It was inexpensive, which is what you'd hope if you heard it without knowing. The sound quality of the drums is okay if you only want to learn rhythm. The cymbals are terrible. The pedals are very poor quality. Assembly wasn't too difficult but no directions are provided.

I bought this for my sons 3rd birthday (I know he is still young but he is high energy and loves drums), I wanted something a little better then the first acts set and this set is great! It looks Great and the sound is great quality also!

I got this for my 4 year old son for Christmas. He absolutely loves it and can't stop playing it. The set was easy to put together and it is really decent quality. Only 4 stars because of the cheap hi hat foot pedal and bass drum pedal.... hopefully they hold up for a while.

I ordered the D1 drums for my 4 year old for christmas and I received it yesterday and assembled it last night. No instructions were provided but I was able to find general instructions online. The assemble was pretty easy and actual sort of fun once I got the hang of it.
