The Ticket to Ride board game is the best game on our shelf. Whenever we need to pull out a game at a party, time after time it's Ticket to Ride. It's simple enough for a novice to understand how to play, but has enough strategy for advanced folks as well.
Great board game! I can see it being fun for all ages, but I’ve been playing it with my husband and we both love it so far. It reminds me of settlers of Catan in the game play, but without the large rule book. Would definitely recommend!
Love this game. I'm very glad I purchased it. It was a bit difficult to learn at first, but we muddled through it and enjoyed it. Now we try to play everyday. I like that one is learning and challenging the memory while playing. Once you learn how to play, it's easy as pie.
This is a great game if you want to play something quick but with a fair amount of thought and strategic play. As one of my friends say, it "shines" with 3 or more players, but it is still a lot of fun with only two players, and you can finish it in 30 minutes or less.
This is a great game for the whole family, or just for two people. It is a little on the expensive side but the board game, box, and pieces are all top quality and feel as though they will last a very long even with lots of use at our house.
I really like this game, but out of the box it is a bit complicated. I even watched a video and was still a bit confused. Once you play a few games it begins to make sense and is lot of fun. I would recommend playing with someone that is experienced the first time.
Playing this 2004 Spiel Des Jahres winner has been quite simply one of the best experiences I’ve had in gaming thus far in my budding gaming experience, and has played a major role in bringing more people into this fine hobby.
Played with a 6 yr old 9 yr old and 2 adults. Only took a few rounds for the 6 yr old to catch on and be able to continue on his own. Game was a reasonable length of time that no one was bored or tired of it. Everyone wanted to play again.
This game is so fun. I bought it so my wife and I could play virtual game nights with our friends. The friends already owned the game but now that I have it we can play over Zoom so we each have a board to play our trains on. Fun game for all ages.
