The DJI Spark delivers all of the camera drone features most people will ever need in an impossibly small package.
The DJI Spark delivers a tiny, lightweight design; excellent mechanically stabilized camera; USB charging and advanced features like gesture controls and obstacle detection. It travels well and is great for aerial photos and video.
Flight time can be as short as 10 to 14 minutes. The app can be frustrating to use, especially on smaller screens. And you should expect to buy batteries and possibly the optional controller.
I originally had the phantom 4 drone, but I wanted something more portable but still had a good camera and intelligent flight modes. So I brought the spark. Even though it is only as big as my phone I can say that it is much better than my phantom 4.
This drone is amazing; to pack as much technology in such a small drone for this price is incredible.Really easy to fly, it pretty much flies itself in some modes. Amazing footage using the pre-set capture paths. Free editing software and music to make stunning clips.
Even though you can use your smart phone for this, you really need to get the remote to get the best out of it. Get the fly more bundle, you'll probably be paying out extra afterwards to get the same stuff... I did. Drone is great for first time drone users.
There is plenty of info on DJI's website but you need to sift through to find what you want and it is lacking basics, hence the 4 stars. They provide quite a few paper manuals in the box, again they are very basic.
I've never owned a camera drone before but I can highly recommend the DJI Spark. It's great fun and takes superb photos and 1080p video. It's easy to use and there are plenty of online tutorials and tips. I'd definitely go for the fly combo as the controller is essential to get the most out of it.
The DJI Spark is a technical marvel, an operational nightmare and an experiential frustration. There are some truly amazing things with the Spark. YouTube can attest to that. It can do some stunning stuff. When it actually works as claimed. Which, for me, it rarely does.
Great fun, nifty little drone with a super camera for stills and video.Shame about the lack of in-depth instructions, although there's plenty of instructional content online. The addition of a controller is a big plus!
Bought this drone a month ago and I fly it 3-4 days a week. Very stable and very fast in sports mode. Battery life could be better, but you can always buy spare batteries. Awesome drone!
Had so much fun before it end up in Adriatic Sea, I am going to buy another one!
Dji spark is an amazing drone performing most of the functions anyone would want. The drone is well made and rightly so one of the top manufacturer. Over the moon with the drone taken some amazing sky high images. Great support from DJI always provide free updates
