DJI’s Mavic Pro is an interesting departure from the company’s usual offerings which catered to professional environments. It’s a prosumer product built for the enthusiast that’s designed for portability – it can actually be folded into your pocket (albeit a large one).
When the Mavic Pro arrived in our offices, the reaction was unanimous: holy ♥♥♥♥, it's small. The folding drone is roughly the size and weight of a hefty Italian sandwich. This compact form factor, I'd come to learn, is a blessing and a curse for the Mavic Pro — emphasis on the blessing.
This drone practically flies itself. The stability is top notch. Has a phenomenal "return to home" function, if it loses signal it will return to where you took off automatically. I use it with my 7+ and Mini4, both will fit directly into the remote with no additional hardware needed.
The Mavic is an amazing piece of hardware. It's my first drone ever and I'm glad I went for it because I can throw it into my backpack and take it anywhere.Despite me saying that I was sure it came with one, the sales staff indicated that it did not come with an SD card, so I purchased one in...
I had done a lot of research about drones and the Mavic on you tube and the internet. I can assure anyone interested it does not disappoint. It really is incredible what this small highly portable drone and its camera can do. In the first few weeksI have only scratched the surface..
the dji mavic pro is fast, sleek, foldable for transporting easy, has a ton of programable options like follow me mode, track me,hand gesture control, fly by fpv or phone, has a 4k camera with excellent stabalisation,4.3mile range ,begginer mode so less likely to crash it or send off over the horizon in...
camera, good as is,seems to have niggling faults,eg occasional red or yellowing centre of picture during video if its staring at anything too bright, like snow in sunlight etc. the landing legs are too short-fine if taking off from a flat surface (which you should anyway), but if have to make an...
My interest is primarily photography, if you want a drone to just fly there are cheaper options. The Mavic pretty much flies itself, so you donu2019t need experience to use it. The set up and operation are straightforward, however the instructions provided and on their website are limited.
Great bit of kit and so user friendly compared to other flying machines and drones,This has a quality about it that leaves the rest behind,Up and flying in 1 min from taking out the box,And lifts off the ground and stays there like a hawk,Flys around so smooth and battery life is 25 mins depends...
Fantastic drone. Easy to deploy & take some fantastic videos.
The connection mechanism for your phone with remote is bit fiddly.
fantastic all round item
the gimbal will fail after about 10 flights
The drone is incredible hands down the very best drone on the market for the price.
Issue with supplied cable, easily sorted with original apple cable.
Very stable, easily flown. Camera is good
Battery is quite short
