The DJI Mavic 2 Pro is the best small drone on the market, with superior image and video quality, obstacle avoidance, and excellent battery life.

+
Superlative 4K video. 20MP Raw and JPG still imaging. Great battery life. Compact, foldable design. Obstacle avoidance sensors.
-
-
8GB internal memory isn't much. No DCI format support. Expensive.
Choose your adventure: a bigger sensor or a zoom lens?
-
+
Excellent image quality, True flat color profile for video, Reliable flying controls, True optical zoom, Less expensive than the Pro model, Super-resolution mode for detailed stills, Reliable flying controls
-
-
Expensive, Not as portable as prior Mavic models, No major battery increase, Video lacks detail compared to Pro model, No major battery increase over prior Mavics
With DJI Mavic Pro being the best foldable drone (I’ll even dare to say BY FAR) available on the market, a ton of DJI fans are already turning their heads towards the next version.
DJI's new super-portable Mavic 2 drones have landed, and they're an impressive upgrade from the previous model. Now, you get to choose whether you want a gorgeous Hasselblad-developed Pro lens, or a fully integrated 2x optical zoom on your Mavic – and the choice isn't as simple as we first thought.
and the four DJI Flagship Stores. For more information on all the new features and capabilities of the Mavic 2, please visit
There's a very good reason why DJI is the market leader of drones: its combination of high-tech features, flight modes and video/image qualit is an unbeatable combination. With the Mavic 2 Pro, that reputation is only enhanced once more.

+
Stunning footage, Great still photos, Obstacle avoidance is brilliant, Flight modes work really well, Super smooth flight - even in wind
-
-
It's expensive, Remote requires phone to be plugged in, App is still not the most user friendly, Non-HDR shots can be grainy
The Mavic 2 Pro is as capable as it is fun to fly – if you can afford to pay the extra £530 over the Mavic Air, it’s well worth the premium.
-
+
Superb image quality, Quiet, stable and fast flight, Long battery life, Safety features galore, Portable design
-
-
Some occasional app issues
The Mavic 2 Pro is a vastly improved drone that takes its photographic capabilities even further and presents some stunning options for aerial photographers.

+
Foldable design, Amazing Hasselblad camera, Excellent 3-axis gimbal, Compact controller
-
-
Expensive, Requires phone with SIM to fly
DJI Mavic 2 Pro gives us the sharpest video and photos out of any consumer-level drone thanks to its color-rich 4K HDR-equipped camera. Compared to the original Mavic Pro, the new the 1-inch sensor in this gimbal-stabilized camera amps up the brightness from video and stills without blowing out the...

Great foldable drone design, 1-inch 4K camera sensor, New modes like Hyperlapse
-
-
Very expensive, Can't shoot 4K at 60fps, Mavic 2 Zoom is compelling alternative
The Mavic 2 Pro is a great drone. Easy to set up right out of the box and easy to operate. Flew it about a quarter mile and on the other side of a few houses and the video feed became very choppy, basically buffering. I really like the telematics that it displays on your phone screen.
-
+
Self take-off, self landing and multiple sensors keep it safe no matter what the operator does.
-
-
Video feed doesn't go far with objects in between.
It is not a Hasselblad quality, the distortion of barrel in video is very remarkable, DJI should give us solution to this problem. The control of the aircraft is not as smooth or precise as a Phantom 4 pro.
This thing is just amazing. Everything I loved about the first Mavic has been refined, updated, or improved. DJI did an amazing job with this. Total control and confidence while flying.
Easy drone to fly, very easy to prepare to fly, video quality from the lens gets a little touchy and some modifications need to be made to make picture perfect even when using filters, drone is very quiet to fly
-
+
Small easy to use drone
-

A little more advancement in lens correction
So much cheaper than anywhere else if you get the fly more combo as well! Highly recommend
I previously owned the Mavic Pro Platinum and this is a great upgrade, it gives you a great raw file work with. I really recommend it as an upgrade. Reliable and fast as usual. Really happy.
This is a great drone if you can afford it. The camera quality is unbelievable and picture strings are endless. The intelligent modes let the drone fly itself to capture some amazing footage with straight forward programming.
There's a lot of do's and not a lot of don'ts when it comes to this drone, the safety features are simply amazing and the quality of the pictures and video are out of this world, I would certainly recommend getting this drone as it is one of the best on the market at the moment.
A very well made piece of kit. Very easy to use too.
Top class drone, basically flys itself! Got some cracking footage from it so far
