Cuisinart Power Advantage 5-Speed Hand Mixer

Haven’t used it yet so giving it 3 stars for now. Looks awesome though, so shiny and sleek! I love the button thats under where your fingers go to discharge the beaters! So comfortable and in a better spot than on top! Will update when I use it. **UPDATE** used it the first time the other day.

The mixer replaced a similar Kitchenaid model. I am a bit disappointed however that this one is much noisier than the Kitchenaid, and the lowest speed is way too fast for some uses. We have other Cuisanard appliances that I am happy with but this is not one of them.

So you'd better have a deep bowl, or be prepared to clean up the loose stuff that went flying when you started mixing at the slowest speed. Other than that, I have no complaints. This is your standard 21st Century hand mixer with the standard features, and is as good as any.

I love this hand mixer. Great for mixing cake and cookie batter. Haven't used it for anything else yet. My friend has the same mixer and I had a chance to borrow hers and try it out. She finally needed it back and I purchased my own. Easy to set up, use, and clean. Feels sturdy, too.

I have only used mixer once and it was easy to handle and easy to clean. It did a good job on oatmeal raisin cookies which are to thick to mix by hand.

Great speed but would prefer a lower starting speed so that when I am mixing baked goods with flour etc., it isn't blowing outside the bowl as I combine ingredients. I also find the handle to be a bit bulky, not sleek or designed with my hand in mind. Otherwise, great working hand-mixer though.

Love this hand mixer! The whisks are easy to pop in and out for a super easy clean and it’s compact for storage purposes. Works great!

I dislike the thin wire beater blades. A wider blade works better. It's difficult to cream items and they tend to sling ingredients out if the bowl.

This little mixer is great. I've made both cheesecake and banana bread with it so far with perfect results. It's very easy to clean and not much batter sticks to the beaters. I also love it's retro-like look and that the white color matches my kitchenaid stand mixer.
