This coffee pot makes a weak cup of coffee, and the grind feature is messy, throwing grinds outside of the basket. after grinding the beans, the grind cup holds moisture until you dry it out. I cannot seem to get anything but weak coffee from this coffee maker. I will be returning it.
After reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about purchasing. Now, after using it for 2 weeks, I am impressed with this coffee maker. The instructions are easy to follow and provide all the information needed to brew a great cup of coffee.
Very good coffee... you can use grinder or not. I use it. Only issue, but I expected it, is cleaning after each use. To me it's only 4 pieces, and wipe out tray. Takes 2 minutes.
I like the fact that I can use the grinder to make good coffee, or grind it using a manual grinder to make great coffee. What I don't like is that if you make a full pot most of the time, the plastic piece that routes the hot water begins to develop cracks after a couple years of use.
I like the options. Grind. No grind. Programmable. 1-4 cup for quicker plate heating. Washable filter that doesn’t rob flavor. (Black coffee guy)Yes. The grinder is loud. Yes, the bean cup does absorb moisture from brewing steam. Still worth it. At this price point, no worthwhile complaints.
I have a Keurig, however I wanted a coffee maker that would grind and brew the coffee. In my opinion, the Keurig cannot compare. The Cuisinart is not as convenient as the Keurig, however the extra effort needed to keep the parts clean is worth the quality of the coffee.
This coffee maker is great, the coffee grinder works great you get a hot cup of coffee every time
It is decent. After looking at the great rating this had, I figured it would be a great machine. One big downfall to this is the grinder. After one use, the steam rises into it making you have to clean AND dry before using it again. If not, the coffee grinds will stick to the container (see images).
I think I've owned every Cuisinart Grind 'N Brew model made. I like them but they're not perfect. This one surprised me (easy to use, great brewing) and disappointed me (have to wipe out the machine very time as the grounds leak into the machine as does the water).
This is my 5 one. Would have anything else. Only wish they would put the grinder and the single pod coffee makers in one
