We've owned this model for over a year now. It has continued to work reliably and brews a very tasty pot of coffee. The thermal carafe works wonderfully and will keep your coffee hot all day if you are a slow but continuous coffee drinker.We did run into a problem after a couple of months.

Bought this 10-cup Coffee maker to replace an old Cuisinart 12-cupper that finally gave up the ghost. This machine looks much like the old one, but on a diet. I say that in a good way, a little slimmer, but good looking. The black finish is shiny and good looking.

This Cuisinart unit has its share of good and bad points and therefore rates as only average overall.

  Easy to use and does a good job of keeping the coffee hot without scorching it. I was a little worried about the gold basket letting the fine grind I use through, Then I found out it will also let you use a number 4 paper filter.

  The thermal carafe works well, But to keep the heat in they use a small airlock that somewhat limits the rate at witch you can pour. Not real bad, But it's noticeable.

It surprised me how different coffee tastes! It's wonderful, not bitter, smooth and delightful. Even cheap coffee tastes great. It brews fast, much faster than a standard maker. The thermal pot keeps coffee hot for hours without the warmer being on. It beeps 5 times to let me know it's ready.

I like this coffee maker, but I have two small issues with it that I want buyers to be aware of. 1 - I fill up my coffee maker with filtered water from my refrigerator, which I put in a big cup and then I pour the water into the coffee maker.

Best coffee maker I ever purchased & this is my 2nd purchased of the same coffee maker. I bought this Cuisinart 10 Cup Programmable Thermal Coffeemaker in October 2019 to replace the same model Cuisinart 10 Cup Programmable Thermal Coffeemaker that I had bought in March 2011.
